Tatiana is the daughter of Braeden’s only child, Christian Gudegast. Braeden’s son is a writer, filmmaker, and director who has worked on projects like the 2003 action thriller film “A Man Apart” and the 2016 action thriller “London Has Fallen.” Along with his eldest daughter Tatiana, Christian has two younger daughters, Oksana and Angelika, with his wife Natasha.

While many fans were supportive, what some might not realize is that Eric Braeden has always been an athlete, long before he graced daytime television. Born in Germany in 1941, as Hans-Jörg Gudegast, he won the German National Team Championship in track and field with the Rendsburger TSV in 1958.
He later moved to the United States and earned a track and field scholarship at the University of Montana. Once in Los Angeles, Braeden also played soccer, competing with the Maccabee Los Angeles Soccer Club as a fullback. His team won the 1973 National Challenge Cup, with Braeden scoring the winning goal in the semifinal on a penalty kick.
