On Friday’s episode of “General Hospital,” secrets, confrontations, and unexpected revelations took center stage.

While Brook Lynn (Amanda Setton) confronted Willow (Katelyn MacMullen) over Chase (Josh Swickard), Ava (Maura West) and Alexis (Nancy Lee Grahn) uncovered an important clue in their investigation into Delilah.

Meanwhile, tensions continued to rise between Curtis (Donnell Turner) and Portia (Brook Kerr), and Valentin (James Patrick Stuart) made a surprising confession to Carly (Laura Wright).

Read on to discover everything that went down during the Friday, May 29th episode of “General Hospital.”

Tracy Hires Ethan To Help Protect Phoebe’s Adoption

The episode opens with Tracy and Ethan catching up at the Quartermaine boathouse. Ethan admits that he blames himself for Rocco leaving town with Britt, revealing that he was the one who helped secure the fake passport that made their escape possible.

The conversation soon shifts to business when Ethan pitches Tracy on hiring him to assist with some of her more complicated affairs. Tracy agrees that his unique skill set could be useful and offers him a job. She tasks Ethan with making sure nothing interferes with Chase and Brook Lynn’s adoption of Phoebe.

Ethan accepts the assignment and promises to do everything he can to help the couple secure Phoebe’s future with the Quartermaine family.

Michael Shares A New Theory About The Car Accident

Later, Michael finds Brook Lynn preparing a thank-you gift for Willow. While Brook Lynn insists she wants to show her appreciation for Willow’s help with Phoebe’s adoption, Michael points out that Willow’s actions were likely motivated by Chase rather than Brook Lynn.

Their conversation becomes more uncomfortable when Michael questions Brook Lynn about her damaged SUV and comments on how much she has been juggling lately. Brook Lynn quickly brushes off his concerns and leaves to deliver the gift.

Afterward, Michael meets with Jacinda and shares his growing suspicion that Brook Lynn may have been the other driver involved in the car accident that injured Curtis and Jordan. Michael speculates that if Chase learns the truth, it could destroy his marriage and potentially push him back toward Willow.

Michael also admits that any fallout involving Willow could ultimately work to his advantage, leaving him with leverage over her moving forward.

Brook Lynn Confronts Willow After Catching Her With Chase

At the Cain house, Willow opens up to Chase about her marriage to Drew. She admits that she regrets marrying him and no longer wants to remain in the relationship. Willow also expresses guilt over cheating on Chase with Michael.

Chase reassures Willow that despite everything that happened, both of them eventually found their way to where they were meant to be. He encourages her to trust herself and focus on getting through the current situation before making any major decisions.

As the conversation comes to an end, Willow and Chase share a hug. However, neither of them realizes that Brook Lynn has arrived outside and witnessed the embrace through the window.

Although Brook Lynn keeps her composure when she enters the house, the tension is obvious. After exchanging pleasantries and delivering Willow’s gift, Brook Lynn makes it clear that she appreciates Chase’s loyalty and support. Once Chase leaves, Brook Lynn directly warns Willow to stay away from her husband, threatening consequences if she crosses the line.

Curtis And Portia Continue To Butt Heads

Elsewhere, Curtis and Portia’s ongoing conflict becomes even more heated.

Curtis continues defending his decision to attack Isaiah and makes it clear that he does not want Isaiah involved in their child’s life. Portia immediately pushes back, arguing that if Curtis can make demands about Isaiah, then she can do the same regarding Jordan.

The argument quickly spirals as both sides revisit old wounds. Portia reminds Curtis that Isaiah supported her during one of the most difficult periods of her life, while Curtis insists that Isaiah may be helping cover up a crime connected to the accident investigation.

Portia refuses to back down and warns Curtis that if she is called to testify in court, she will tell the truth about witnessing Curtis assault Isaiah. By the end of the conversation, neither appears willing to compromise.

Valentin Confesses His Feelings To Carly

At Carly’s house, tensions remain high between Carly and Valentin.

Carly confronts Valentin over his willingness to rush to Anna’s aid while her own family was dealing with a crisis involving Josslyn.

Later, Charlotte arrives looking for reassurance after blaming herself for some of the recent chaos involving Rocco. Carly comforts her and reminds her that she cannot take responsibility for other people’s choices.

After Charlotte leaves, Carly and Valentin finally have an honest conversation about their relationship. Both acknowledge mistakes made during their earlier argument, and Carly admits she may have placed expectations on Valentin despite knowing how much Anna means to him.

Valentin then surprises Carly by admitting that his feelings for her have become real. As he tells Carly that he wants a future with her, she responds by kissing him.

Ava And Alexis Uncover A New Connection To Delilah

The episode ends with Ava and Alexis continuing their investigation into Delilah Wilson.

The pair travels to a Manhattan art gallery and questions Apollo, Delilah’s former employer, about what he knows. Initially, Apollo insists he has very little information to share and claims he was unaware that Delilah was pregnant.

However, once he is alone, Apollo secretly contacts Ethan and warns him that Ava and Alexis are asking questions.

Despite the setback, Ava manages to convince Apollo to cooperate by offering a potential financial reward from the Quartermaine family. Apollo ultimately changes course and reveals a photograph taken the previous summer that shows Ethan and Delilah together.

The discovery leaves Ava and Alexis stunned, raising even more questions about Ethan’s connection to Phoebe’s biological mother.

Cliffhanger Friday stayed true to its name on “General Hospital,” as the episode left several storylines at a turning point. While Brook Lynn issued a warning to Willow, Curtis and Portia found themselves further divided than ever. Meanwhile, Ava and Alexis’ investigation uncovered new questions about Ethan’s connection to Delilah. As several storylines continue to heat up, Port Charles residents may soon be forced to face some difficult truths.
