SEE INSIDE: John Stamos’ Former $7.25 Million Mansion

Back in the ’90s, actor John Stamos lived at a Calabasas estate during the peak of his “Full House” fame. While he later sold the home, it hit the market recently for $7.25 million, which is significantly less than its original listing price of $13 million, according to the New York Post.

The home was previously purchased in 2020 by two-time Republican congressional hopeful Justin Aguilera, and his wife, Candace Aguilera.

The New York Post notes that “the pair undertook a full, and opulent, remodel of the property. The interior was entirely transformed to a new white, black and gold, shiny, gaudy masterpiece.”

The Property Boasts ‘Exceptional Privacy’ & ‘Refined Living’

A seven-bed, seven-bath estate, an Instagram post from Alessandro Corona REALTOR® reads: “Presenting 25665 Mulholland Hwy, a private gated estate offering exceptional privacy, breathtaking views, and refined living in the heart of the Santa Monica Mountains.”

Offering over 4.6 acres of property, the home spans more than 6,000 square feet “of thoughtfully designed interiors, seamlessly blending timeless architecture with modern comforts.”

On top of that, the post notes that “[t]he home is ideal for entertaining, with expansive living and dining spaces, a resort-style pool and spa, and effortless indoor-outdoor flow.”

And for anyone looking for breathtaking views, “[p]anoramic canyon and sunset vistas provide a stunning backdrop, while the property’s location offers both seclusion and convenience—just minutes from Malibu’s beaches and the shops and dining of Calabasas.”

John Defended Himself Against the ‘Tacky’ Accusations

“Imagine building your dream home, eventually selling the property, and then seeing it back on the market with a makeover far from your initial design vision. That’s exactly what John Stamos recently experienced when his former Southern California home hit the market for a smidge under $13 million,” according to House Beautiful. “The Full House star had the Calabasas home custom-built in the early 1990s, and he wants everyone to know the home’s currently bold, marble-heavy look isn’t of his own doing.”

House Beautiful also noted that when photos of the mansion were shared online by IG Mansions, “people had thoughts on the home’s bold design scheme…”

One person called the home “Tacky AF.”

Someone else wrote, “Gaudy at best.”

Another person added, “A giant box of tacky.”

However, Stamos wants fans to know that he wasn’t responsible for the current aesthetic. He even left a comment to say, “In my defence, I sold that house many years ago and it has been ‘redecorated.'”
