Heads up, soaps fans!
Labor Day is coming up next week, and that means some of the soap operas will be preempted. Find out which shows will air and which ones won’t on Monday, September 1.
‘Beyond the Gates’
CBS“BTG” fans may find the show looking very familiar next week as the series is set to air repeat episodes in line with Labor Day.
Episode 124, which is supposed to air on September 1st, will now air next Monday, September 8th. The newest CBS sudser will re-air episodes 45 to 49, which featured the culmination of Ted and Nicole’s wedding anniversary and the shocking Leslie/Dana reveal
This will not be the first time “Beyond the Gates” has taken a week off. Previously, the show replayed a week’s worth of episodes during its debut week, giving fans the chance to catch up.
“BTG” is the only soap to take a break for an entire holiday week. Other shows typically only take a day off, airing a repeat episode.
‘General Hospital’
“GH” will also be preempted for Labor Day next week, so no new episode will air on Monday, September 1. The hit ABC soap will air a replay episode from January 31, 2025, instead.
The drama in Port Charles will resume on Tuesday, September 2. Viewers won’t miss anything as the episode will pick up where it left off on Friday.

‘Days of Our Lives’
Meanwhile, “DOOL” fans will get to watch the show per usual, as it is available to stream on Peacock. Monday’s spoilers tease that Brady makes a shocking discovery, Marlena praises Tate, Cat and Felicity celebrate Aaron’s homecoming, and Chad comforts Thomas.
‘The Young & the Restless’
Similarly, “Y&R” will not be affected by the Labor Day preemptions on Monday. A new episode will air as scheduled, where Jack sees Diane’s true colors, Kyle proposes to Claire, and Audra asks Nate for a second chance.
‘The Bold & the Beautiful’
CBSAs for “B&B,” the soap will air as usual on Labor Day. Spoilers for Monday, September 1, tease that Will and Electra finally take their relationship to the next level, Sheila attempts to talk sense into Luna, and the love triangle between Liam, Hope, and Carter heats up.
