Donna Kelce is one proud mama! Since learning of Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift’s engagement, she’s making sure to hold onto any keepsakes, per People.
“Donna is already saving little things from this time like photos, notes and flowers. She is very sentimental about it. She wants to remember every detail, so she has been holding onto mementos from their first days as an engaged couple,” a source told the publication.
The insider revealed that Swift and Travis, who announced their engagement on August 26, are over the moon.
“Taylor and Travis have been in celebration mode ever since the engagement. They are not in the wedding planning phase yet. Right now they just want to enjoy being engaged and they are going to take their time with it,” the source said.
The unnamed person added that the pair are glad that the secret’s out and are enjoying their new status with their friends and family.
While they’re not in the wedding-planning phase yet, a source revealed to Page Six that Swift and Travis want an intimate ceremony.
“It will be more casual than people think,” the insider shared.
Mama Kelce Described Travis as ‘Settled’ Days Before the Reveal

While talking to People on August 24, she said of her youngest son, “I think his mind is settled. That’s about all I can tell you.”
The Kelce matriarch continued, “I think he feels calm and he feels like he’s on a mission and he knows exactly what he wants.”
As for Travis’ father, Ed Kelce, he told the publication that the “Lover” singer was the source of the tight end’s happiness. “There’s no question about it,” he said.
Referring to Swift’s appearance on Travis’ “New Heights” podcast, Ed shared, “I think it was awesome. It was great to see them go back and forth. They’re two people obviously very much in love.”
Ed Kelce Shared Details About Travis’ Proposal to Swift
Ed told News 5 Cleveland on August 27 that Travis proposed to Swift two weeks before their announcement, which would have put the date around her “New Heights” appearance.
“He was going to put it off till this week. I think she was getting maybe a little antsy, but he was going to put her off till this week, to, you know, make some grand thing, to make it a big special event,” Ed revealed.
He continued, “And I told him repeatedly, you know, you could do it on the side of the road, do it any place that makes it a special event … when you get down on one knee and ask her to marry you.”
The proposal happened in the backyard of Travis’ house in Missouri, with an elaborate floral arrangement that transformed his outdoor space into a fairytale-like garden.
Ed shared that Travis lured Taylor outside with a glass of wine, where he surprised her with the romantic setup.
“They started FaceTiming me and their mother and her folks to make sure everybody knew. So, to see them together is great,” the proud father gushed.
