“It appears to be an 8–10 carat elongated antique cushion cut with a signature open culet. That elongated ratio is rare for antique diamonds, which are typically more on the chunky side,” Kegan Fisher, co-founder of fine jewelry brand Frank Darling, told InStyle.
“The ring features a collet-style setting, something we’re seeing trend upward, paired with a flat, tapered band accented with diamond detailing.”
How Kelce Popped the Question
Swift and Kelce revealed their engagement on August 26 with a joint Instagram post, but sources say the proposal took place weeks earlier. According to Page Six, Kelce had been planning the moment for months and initially considered waiting for a special date.
In an interview with The Jimmy & Nath Show with Emma, Kelce’s father, Ed Kelce, revealed that his son asked Taylor’s dad, Scott Swift, for his blessing a month earlier. “Scott said, ‘Well come on, when are you going to get this done?’” Ed recalled.
