Marking a milestone moment, Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift made their first public appearance since announcing their engagement. Swift and former Cincinnati Bearcats tight end Travis Kelce made a high-profile appearance at Kansas City’s Arrowhead Stadium for the Bearcats’ season opener against Nebraska. The newly engaged couple was joined by Travis’ brother and former UC teammate Jason Kelce.

The NFL star, 35, couldn’t hide his smile. On Thursday night, he attended the Nebraska Cornhuskers vs. Cincinnati Bearcats game at Arrowhead Stadium in Kansas City, soaking in the excitement from the sidelines.

Kelce enjoyed the outing with his brother, Jason Kelce, as the siblings watched the college football matchup together. Later, Swift also joined.

A Night Out With Brother Jason Kelce

The tight end sported a red-and-white striped Nike long-sleeve shirt, a baseball cap, and black shorts while cheering on the Bearcats.

Jason drew attention with his own look, pairing a black bomber jacket with jean shorts and construction boots.

The brothers were seen chatting on the sidelines, and Travis even hyped up the team in a video later posted by the Bearcats on X.

“Man we about to take over Arrowhead, I can feel it baby,” he said with a grin.

Arrowhead holds special meaning for Travis, who played for the Bearcats before making the stadium his NFL home with the Kansas City Chiefs in 2013.

Later, Swift was spotted wearing a new piece of jewelry: her stunning engagement ring.

Swift and Kelce watched the game side by side from a suite, where they were also spotted with Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes and his wife, Brittany.

Inside Travis & Taylor’s Engagement

The outing came just two days after Travis and Swift confirmed their engagement on Instagram with a series of sweet photos. “Your English teacher and your gym teacher are getting married 🧨,” they captioned the post, set to Swift’s track “So High School” from her “Tortured Poets Department” album.

The proposal, which took place in the garden of Kelce’s Leawood, Kansas, estate, featured a massive old mine brilliant-cut diamond ring co-designed by jeweler Kindred Lubeck of Artifex Fine and Travis himself.

How Travis Popped the Question

According to Travis’ dad, Ed Kelce, the NFL star had been planning the engagement for six to eight months. “Maybe two weeks, not quite two weeks ago” is when it finally happened, Ed told Cleveland’s ABC News 5.

“He was going to put it off till this week. I think she was getting maybe a little antsy, but he was going to put her off till this week, to, you know, make some grand thing, to make it a big special event,” Ed explained. “And I told him repeatedly, you know, you could do it on the side of the road, do it any place that makes it a special event … when you get down on one knee and ask her to marry you.”

Ed shared that the moment was simple but heartfelt: “He got her out there, they were about to go out to dinner, and he said, ‘let’s go out and have a glass of wine.’ They got out there, and that’s when he asked her, and it was beautiful.”

Afterward, the couple FaceTimed their families to share the happy news. “They started FaceTiming me and their mother and her folks to make sure everybody knew. So, to see them together is great,” Ed said.
