Travis Kelce is reportedly considering a major career move following his shining moment at his wedding to Taylor Swift last month.
According to a report from Rob Shuter’s Naughty But Nice, the NFL superstar may soon follow in the footsteps of the former “The Voice” mentor by venturing into the country music industry.
According to the outlet, Kelce’s surprise performance at his Madison Square Garden wedding to Swift may have been his first public move toward launching an entirely new career.
“Travis has been talking about making a country album for months,” a source told the outlet. “The wedding performance wasn’t just a fun moment—it was a test run. He was singing in front of the biggest names in music, and he wanted to see how it felt.”

Despite Kelce’s shining moment at his wedding to Swift, not everyone is convinced that a transition into country music would be an easy one, according to Naughty But Nice.
“Some of Taylor’s friends in the music industry think he’s underestimating how tough country music really is,” a source told the outlet. “Celebrity might get you through the front door, but it won’t keep you on the charts. You still have to earn the respect of Nashville.”
Still, those in Kelce’s inner circle reportedly believe it would be a mistake to underestimate what he could accomplish.

The insider continued, “With Taylor in his corner, Travis believes the sky’s the limit. Now it’s Nashville’s turn to decide if it’s ready for football’s next act.”
Both Swift and Kelce have yet to confirm these rumors, so it’s best to take them with a grain of salt.

Previously, it was reported that Kelce and Swift sang at their wedding reception.
During the July 21 episode of the Ross Tucker Football Podcast, Kelce’s brother, Jason Kelce, confirmed that the Kansas City Chiefs tight end performed at his wedding, praising his vocals.
“Yeah, Trav can sing. Trav has always being able to carry a tune,” Jason revealed. “Obviously, paled in comparison to some of the other people singing that night, but he did okay. I think the Tuckers definitely have us beat in beer pong, I know that. I don’t know if I’ve ever met a better beer pong player than Ross Tucker. So, we can sing all right. Trav is very good. But, yeah.”
He continued, “Everybody in third grade, you’re starting to record. Everybody in fourth grade, you’re getting musical instrument. When you’re in middle school, you’re either singing or you’re doing music with an instrument. It’s very artsy … So long story short, I really do think it’s a wonderful area that you kind of get exposed to a lot of different things, whether it’s the arts, athletics, academics.”
