‘Bachelor Mansion Takeover’ Declares First Winner After a Nail-Biting Finale

This year, the Bachelor world changed things up. In addition to casting “The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives” star Taylor Frankie Paul as “The Bachelorette,” ABC also teamed with HGTV for their first-ever joint renovation show, “Bachelor Mansion Takeover.”

Hosted by Jessie Palmer and judged by former Bachelorette Tayshia Adams and Tyler Cameron, among special guest judges, Bachelor Nation was in for a treat.

In each of the episodes of the show, 12 former contestants from “The Bachelor,” “The Bachelorette,” “The Golden Bachelor,” and “The Golden Bachelorette” competed against one another as they gave the franchise’s iconic home a much-needed makeover.

The show first premiered on March 2, 2026, and, on April 6, 2026, the series finale crowned its very first winner.

In the final sixth episode of the show, Noah Erb, from “The Bachelorette” season 16 and “Bachelor in Paradise” season 7, took home the coveted $100,000 cash prize.

In the beginning of the episode, four contestants were still remaining: Erb, Dean Bell, Sam McKinney, and Tammy Ly. By the middle of the episode, Bell and McKinney were eliminated following a final impression challenge and a one-day room transformation.

After that, Erb and Ly were tasked with working together to renovate the mansion’s kitchen. While the judges were impressed by both of them, Erb was ultimately crowned victorious.

‘Bachelor Mansion Takeover’ Contestants Are Looking Back on Their Time on the Show

While Erb has yet to post on social media since the finale, Ly took to Instagram to celebrate being a runner-up.

“So grateful for this experience and to bring my Bachelor world full circle,” Ly wrote alongside a gallery of behind-the-scenes pictures and videos.

“Thank you to everyone who was able to make this production happen and for everyone who has shown so much support,” the caption continued. “This was by far the most fun I’ve ever had on a set…. Yet 😉 maybe HGTV is my new home??”

Prior to the finale, Erb looked back at his experience on Instagram. At the time of filming, his mother was going through health struggles. She ultimately passed away in October 2025.

“Leading up to [the finale] I failed miserably at every challenge and was already past my 4 episode minimum,” Erb in the caption. “I was also fighting within myself If I should go home and see my sick mom even though she said she wanted me to stay.”

“Sometimes you just need to have a four way duel on the top of a mountain to see what happens,” he said of the finale episode. “This challenge was clearest I had thought in months 🙏.”
