It’s safe to say that Trista and Ryan Sutter are one of the most successful and beloved Bachelor Nation couples. One reason is surely because they are so open with their love. Just take a peek at the poem that Ryan wrote for Trista on her 53rd birthday.
Taking to Instagram and sharing a photo of the couple, Ryan wrote:
“Baby Mama,
A birthday poem just for you…
The sun has gone down, it’s beginning to get late.
As I sit here alone and contemplate.
How lucky I am. How lucky I got.
That you gave me a rose. That you gave me a shot.
At a life with you forever — to the moon and back.
You’re so darn good looking with a near perfect… knack
For knowing what to do and for knowing what to say.
To make things get better – To make it Ok.
The places we’ve gone, All the things that we’ve done.
The family we’ve raised that’s second to none.
I know I do things that get under your skin.
Like leave out my shoes or not let you sleep in.
But you’ve never locked me out. You always open the door.
You just being you keeps me coming back for more…”

Ryan’s poem went on to say:
“I’ve said it before, that I’m the luckiest man.
Though I guess I really should thank Stan and Roseanne?
For bringing you to life. For putting you on the earth.
So we can all celebrate another year of your birth.
Your 53rd to be exact, though you look 35.
Oops, I told everyone your age, guess I’m lucky to be alive.
But lucky is the theme or maybe grateful is too.
So lucky and so grateful to be married to you.
I hope that your big day is all you desire.
I hope that you’ll take a moment and sit down by the fire-
Man who loves you more than warm cookies or bikes.
More than race trucks or camping or going on hikes.
And I do, that’s the truth, you can take it and post it.
Grab a glass of wine, raise it up and toast it.
To the woman, the lady, the girl of my dreams.
May you always have chocolate cake, white icing and ice cream…
