The couple chose to keep the sex of their baby a secret, even teasing fans in their original post with a black-and-white snapshot holding baby booties. Just a few days later, the couple shared a video taking part in a cake-cutting gender reveal, scooping out either blue or pink frosting.

Tyler Norris and Alyssa Sheridan are going to be parents of a baby boy after sharing a sweet video finding out the gender of their first child.
Taking to Instagram, the couple shared a video from the beach, where a white-frosted cake sat between them. Norris and Sheridan each held a wine glass as they made their guesses about the baby’s gender. While Norris predicted they were having a girl, Sheridan believed they were having a boy, though she admitted she had a dream their child was a girl.
As the couple closed their eyes and counted down to three, Norris accidentally took a peek at the cake and looked shocked as they then both lifted their glasses filled with cake and blue frosting. “It’s a boy!” Sheridan excitedly said as they embraced in a sweet kiss.
They also shared a photo of Sheridan wrapping her arms around Norris as she held blue booties, with another snapshot featuring a close-up of Sheridan’s positive pregnancy test and ultrasound images.
In the comment section, family and friends shared their excitement over the news, with many welcoming the soon-to-be parents to the “boy club.”

Norris & Sheridan Reveal Their Baby Boy’s Due Date
As previously mentioned, the couple first announced that they were going to be first-time parents in an Instagram post on August 7. The couple shared loving snapshots at the beach wearing matching white tops and blue jeans as Sheridan showed off her growing baby bump.
In one photo, Norris wrote the baby’s due date in the sand. “Baby Norris 2.10.27,” it read.
“Half of me & half of you ❤️ A little souvenir from Italy that we’ll treasure for a lifetime. 🤭🇮🇹 Baby Norris, coming 2.10.2027,” the caption read.
Sheridan also shared that she was 13 weeks pregnant and detailed her and Norris’ initial reactions to finding out they were going to be parents.
“The first time we heard your tiny heart beating, the world seemed to stand still. There are moments in life that you can’t quite put into words—moments you know you’ll remember forever. That was one of them. Your dad and I have loved you long before we’ve ever held you, and somehow our hearts already feel fuller because you’re here,” she wrote.
