Bachelor Nation’s Zac Clark Celebrates 15 Years of Sobriety With Sweet Message From Kaitlyn Bristowe

Zac Clark first appeared on “The Bachelorette” as a contestant on Tayshia Adams’ season 16. During that time, he bravely opened up about his battle with addiction and has continued to talk about his recovery after appearing on the show.

Clark, who has been sober since 2011, recently took to Instagram to celebrate 15 years of sobriety and reflect on the milestone. As Bachelor Nation congratulated him, so did his rumored girlfriend, former “Bachelorette” star Kaitlyn Bristowe, who shared a sweet message in the comment section.

In an August Instagram post, former “Bachelorette” star Zac Clark announced that he marked 15 years of sobriety. Clark shared how he celebrated the milestone with those closest to him, having his parents by his side as they gathered at what appeared to be his New York City apartment.

The first photo in Clark’s post featured him posing between his parents outside his apartment terrace while holding up a recovery medallion. A video then showed Clark blowing out a “15” candle and appearing visibly emotional as he wiped away tears from his eyes.

Clark also proudly showed off a homemade book filled with photos and touching messages that read, “Celebrating 15 years of life” and “Keep going.”

“15 Years Sober. Thank You For My Sobriety. God, grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change. The courage to change the things I can and the wisdom to know the difference. Amen,” he captioned his post.

Clark was also given a special shoutout from alumni from his company, Release Recovery, an addiction and mental health recovery organization based in NYC. The Instagram account shared touching messages from those Clark has personally worked with and helped inspire in their own sobriety journeys.

“Your authenticity is impossible to miss. It inspires everyone around you to show up at their truest selves,” a message read. “Happy 15 years Zac!! Your recovery and the way you show up for others inspires me daily. I’m so grateful for your example and the role you’ve played in my own journey. Congratulations on an incredible milestone!!”

Clark’s post celebrating 15 years of sobriety was flooded with comments congratulating him on the huge life milestone.

“The Bachelor” alum Serena Pitt shared, “You’re amazing Zac!! Keep going!” “Southern Hospitality” star Maddi Reese, who has been open about her own sobriety journey, wrote, “Congrats ❤️.” Actor Taylor Lautner shared, “You’re also my hero.”

However, fans couldn’t help but notice “The Bachelorette” star Kaitlyn Bristowe leaving Clark two comments on his post. Her first comment read, “2026 2027 what’s the diff right” while a second comment read, “You’re my hero.”

Clark and Bristowe have been romantically linked since January 2024, though the two have yet to confirm their romance. However, it appears that the pair have taken their relationship to the next level after Bristowe announced her plans to move to New York City in April.

Since her move, Bristowe has been sharing glimpses of her new life in the Big Apple, with many of her posts featuring the Bachelor Nation alum on her NYC terrace. In fact, fans have noticed that Clark’s latest Instagram post featured him on a very similar terrace.

While both stars have remained incredibly quiet about their relationship, Bristowe did offer a rare comment about their romance when she revealed she was ready to be a fiancée again during a July episode of the “Not Skinny But Not Fat” podcast.

“I’m on this third possible engagement,” she shared. “If I’m gonna finally talk about someone out loud after however long, I hope this is the person.” Although Bristowe didn’t identify who she was talking about, she shared that “people know” who it is.
