‘Masked Singer’ Fans Are Pretty Sure They’ve Cracked Two Season 14 Identities

Season 14 of “The Masked Singer” is officially in full swing, and yep, you already know what that means: the performances are dramatic, the clue packages are wild, and fans are doing what they do best… playing internet detective at an elite level.

The Fox competition reality series returned on Wednesday, January 7, 2026, with a brand-new lineup of masked celebrities ready to belt it out while keeping their identities locked down (at least in theory). Nick Cannon is back as host, joined once again by judges Robin Thicke, Jenny McCarthy Wahlberg, Ken Jeong, and Rita Ora; a panel that knows the game but still loves to be shocked.

Just a few episodes in, multiple masks have already been retired, and fans feel very confident that they’re closing in on two more. Let’s be real: the confidence levels online are off the charts.

Who’s Been Unmasked So Far?

Before we get into the latest fan theories, here’s a quick refresher on who’s already been revealed this season… because Season 14 wasted zero time.

In Episode 1, Googly Eyes was unmasked as former baseball star and sportscaster David “Big Papi” Ortiz. The episode also saw the Croissants eliminated, though their reveal was held until Episode 2, where they turned out to be reality TV personalities Todd and Julie Chrisley. Later in that same episode, Le Who Who was revealed as actor and comedian Tiffany Haddish.

Episode 3 doubled down on surprises. Handyman was unmasked as rapper and actor Tone Loc, while Scarab shocked both the judges and viewers as Taraji P. Henson; and honestly, that vocal moment still has people talking.

Then, in Episode 4 things got even crazier. Queen Corgi unmasked herself before the vote could be announced and revealed she was Claudia Oshry.

So yes, the bar has already been set high.

Fans Are Zeroing In on Galaxy Girl & Stingray

Now, onto the theories that have fans convinced they’ve solved the puzzle early. On Reddit, many viewers believe Galaxy Girl is Ashlee Simpson-Ross, with Stingray being none other than her husband, Evan Ross. And it seems like the internet is treating this less like speculation and more like a solved case.

One fan flat-out stated, “It’s Ashlee Simpson-Ross, and I’m pretty sure Stingray is Evan Ross.”

“It’s 10000% Ashlee Simpson. I listened to her first album on repeat in middle school. I recognize that raspy voice anywhere and it took her singing for 30 seconds the first night for me to clock her,” a  fan explained, “Talks about dying her hair to make herself different. She famously changed her hair color to be different than her sister’s. There was a clue with a bowl of oranges and She performed at the orange bowl.”

Another Redditor connected multiple dots saying, “I’m positive it’s Ashlee Simpson from the voice alone. I even commented in that one small preview of her singing one line that it was her. The 2 LA clue is from “la la”, one of her songs. She also had a scholarship to a dance school but didnt stay there long because of Jessica’s career taking off and other reasons. The two constellations were hers and Evan Ross’s, her husband.”

Someone else summed it up simply: “So her and her husband are both on this season.”

At this point, fans aren’t just guessing;  they’re building full timelines. And while nothing is confirmed (yet), the enthusiasm is undeniable.

The Show Must Go On

Episode 5 airs tonight, Wednesday, February 4, 2026, at 8:00 p.m. ET on Fox, with streaming available the next day on Hulu. Whether the theories hold up or get completely flipped on their heads, one thing is clear: “The Masked Singer” Season 14 is already delivering exactly the kind of chaos fans tune in for.
