This is not the first time the relationship between Simpson and her husband’s family has been highlighted, and they all share a close bond. The “Pieces of Me” singer is also close to her mother-in-law, Supremes star Diana Ross. “She’s done Vegas so many times,” Simpson said of Diana in an interview with Today in September. “She’s amazing and an incredible mother, and I definitely look up to her.”
