It was quick, but the Battle Rounds on “The Voice” 2026 came to an end last night. “The Voice” season 29 coaches put their final artists up against each other, so now it’s time to look back at this latest round on “The Voice: Battle of Champions.” Who had the best Battles for season 29? We made our selections, so check them out below in our “The Voice” spoilers.
1. Team Adam – Drew Russell vs. Jared Shoemaker
Adam Levine said he is going to cry because of this matchup. They said they are excited for the matchup and think it’s a great pairing. For their performance, they are singing “Leather & Lace” by Stevie Nicks and Don Henley. Adam happened to sing this song with Stevie Nicks at his wedding to his wife, so no pressure on this one for these artists.
The stakes are high, and they’ve gotten a lot of feedback. They need to be vulnerable with this one and have that chemistry among them. For this performance, it’s a great one. She has that country twang to her voice, which sounds very solid on this song. Then he comes in with that raspy, rocker voice, and it works.
They both sound so good. Kelly was very adamant about these two sounding so good together. She was suggesting they become a duet, which I can totally hear. They just blended so well.
Results: The winner of this battle was Jared Shoemaker, which means Drew was eliminated.
2. Team Kelly – Liv Ciara vs. Mikenley Brown
They are the youngest members of Team Kelly, so they knew they would be paired. For their battle, they are singing “Focus” by HER. They didn’t know this song, so they had a lot to work on.
In rehearsals, Jennifer felt like they were there musically; they just needed to take it to the next level. She said it’s in the interpretation of the song.
For their performance, they are both very strong singers. Their voices work for this song choice. I think they both hit some great notes, and this was a tough one for Kelly.
Results: Kelly picked Mikenley Brown as the winner! However, both John and Adam wanted to steal Liv away. While they were making their pitch, Kelly hit her Super Steal button and kept Liv on her team, also!
3. Team Adam – Alexia Jaay vs. Moses G
Team Adam is super strong this season. He said they are both powerhouses, with such big vocals. Alexia said she is not surprised they are paired together. They are very similar, but Alexia said they vibe together.
For their performance, they sang “Nightshift” by The Commodores. Benji said that when they started singing, he couldn’t stop smiling. Benji said Alexia’s voice doesn’t sound like she’s rehearsing for a Battle Round on “The Voice.” Adam told them that nobody is perfect, so don’t think of that. Adam said they complement each other, and his favorite of the day.
They hit the stage, and both have such a strong voice. I felt like Alexia was just so good, but Moses would hit some runs or notes and make me rethink it. They both did a stellar job on this one.
Results: The winner of this battle was Alexia, but John hit his button and stole Moses to join Team Legend!
