“The Voice” season 29 is heading into the Battle Rounds next week on NBC. The returning coaches — Kelly Clarkson, Adam Levine, and John Legend — put the finishing touches on their teams this week on “The Voice” 2026. As the Voice Battles take over NBC, it’s also the time of year that these coaches start bringing in some backup. So, who are the advisors and mega mentors for the Battles and Knockout rounds coming soon? We have those details in “The Voice” spoilers below.
The Return of an Original Coach
With this being “The Voice: Battle of Champions,” NBC is pulling out all the stops. We have many twists and turns coming our way, including a new round with a new advantage.
This new round will feature an O.G., though, as CeeLo Green will be returning to “The Voice” stage, according to NBC Insider.
Green will be serving as a Mega Mentor to two of the coaches during the Voice Knockouts. In addition, he will return as the judge for the In-Season All-Star Competition.
For this highly anticipated competition, Clarkson, Levine, and Legend will all bring back two of their fan-favorite artists who have competed in previous seasons. They will rejoin their teams and battle it out in head-to-head sing-offs.
CeeLo will judge their sing-offs, and the coach with the most sing-off wins will earn a huge advantage: a SECOND finalist in the Voice Finale!
Team Adam on ‘The Voice’
Team Adam is getting ready for the next couple of rounds of competitions. To do that, he is calling in some big guns. Here are the advisors/mega mentors helping Team Adam, as well as the artists returning for the All-Star Competition.

Team Kelly
This is an interesting one, as Kelly was preparing for these rounds when her ex-husband, Brandon Blackstock, passed away. Clarkson had to miss rehearsal days for these Voice Battles. That is when Jennifer Hudson stepped up as not only an advisor, but an alumni coach.
