‘The Voice’ Season 29 Schedule: When Do the Battle Rounds Start?

Things are moving along quickly on “The Voice” season 29, as these champion coaches — Kelly Clarkson, Adam Levine, and John Legend — have been building their teams through the Blind Auditions on “The Voice” 2026. It’s time to move on to the next round of the competition, but when do the Battle Rounds start on “The Voice” season 29? Check out the details below in our “The Voice” spoilers.

The Blind Auditions Schedule

Many fans of “The Voice” are confused about what’s been happening on the show. It seems like we have been moving quickly through these Blind Auditions this season.

This past Monday night, we had Night 3 of the auditions for season 29. Seems like we should have more, right?

No, that is not the case. Remember, we only have three coaches this season. That means we have one less team to fill up before moving on to the Battle Rounds.

For “The Voice: Battle of Champions,” each coach is starting with 10 artists on their team after the Blind Auditions. Those spots have all been filled, so it’s time to move on to the next round of this competition!

When Do ‘The Voice’ Season 29 Battle Rounds Start?

The coaches and artists are ready to move on to the Voice Battles. This next round of the competition will kick off on Monday, March 16, at 9/8c on NBC.

For this second round of the competition, the coaches will pair up their artists. They will duet with their teammates, and then their coach will decide who sang it better.

The winner of the Battle Round gets to stay on their team, making their way to the Voice Knockouts. While the losing artist will either be eliminated from the competition, or they might join another team via a steal or Super Steal this season.

For the Battle Rounds, each coach has one regular steal to use. Of course, Kelly received the “Super Steal” after winning the “Triple Turn Competition” during the auditions. That means she can trump any other coach’s attempt to steal an artist. If Kelly wants them, she will get them.

After the Voice Battles are done, each team will have six artists heading into the Knockouts. While we have a lot of twists and changes for this special season, the Battle Rounds won’t really feature anything too wild, besides the Super Steal. It will be some intense head-to-head battles with some iconic advisors coming to help out these coaches.

“The Voice” season 29 airs on Monday nights at 9/8c on NBC. New episodes are available to stream the next day on Peacock.
