KJ Willis

It’s all about the Triple Chair Turn and the special steal the coach gets who has the most during the Blind Auditions. We then see KJ Willis take the stage, so it has to be a triple turn, right? He has a strong voice and is very comfortable on that stage. It’s not, though, as Adam does not turn for him, but Kelly and John do.

Coaches’ Feedback: Adam said he is in very good hands with these two idols. Kelly said he has such a gift, but would suggest holding back a little bit. Pick those moments to shine. John was using his connections with KJ to win him over.

Final Decision – They both fight hard, but KJ picks to join Team Legend.

Houston Kelly

He is a southern boy living in Memphis. He said he would love to be coached by Adam Levine or Kelly Clarkson. Houston performs with a band. He’s singing his grandfather’s favorite song for these Blind Auditions. His grandpa passed away on the day he found out he was coming for this audition.

For his performance, he sings “Walking In Memphis” by Marc Cohn. He has a very strong voice and is having fun up there. I was surprised no one was turning for him, but he got Kelly to turn for him at the last second.

Coaches’ Feedback: Kelly said she is sweating. She kept thinking she has country, but no one like this. Kelly said she is so excited that Blake isn’t here right now. Adam said he was thinking about it too. He said he clearly is where he should be. Houston joins Team Kelly!

Ashley Marina on ‘The Voice’

She said her whole life has led up to this moment, and she’s so ready. She loves coffee, which is part of the reason why she became a barista. Ashley was on “America’s Got Talent” when she was 12 years old; she is now 18.

For her audition, she sings “Now I Wanna Cry” by Keith Urban. She definitely has a mature voice, especially for 18. She hits a big note, and all three coaches immediately hit their button for her.

Coaches’ Feedback: Kelly said she was pitchy after they turned around. She has a really killer voice and would love to help you tackle those nerves. Adam said they absolutely know they are listening to something special. They are here to make her more comfortable in front of audiences. John said he is so excited for her. It was really beautiful and tasteful.

Final Decision: Ashley picks to join Team Legend on “The Voice” 2026. That means it is now 3 wins for Team Adam, and 2 wins each for Team Kelly and Team Legend for the Triple Turn competition!

Aziz Guerra

Aziz is 20 years old from El Paso, Texas. He is in a mariachi band. For his performance, he is going to be singing a Spanish song. He wants to bring this type of music to people his age and feels it’s an honor to perform it on “The Voice” 2026.

He definitely has a strong voice. Aziz is working it out up there. This is a strong performance, and he hits that last note, which was amazing. Adam is the only coach to turn for him, so he will be joining Team Adam this season.

Picky Coaches

With only a few spots left to fill, “The Voice” season 29 coaches are being picky. We see Mariette Gevorgian take the stage. She is only 15 years old and has a strong voice, but no coaches turn for her. Kelly said she has such a big, beautiful gift and told her to come back.

Jason Farol is up next. They really want the coaches to turn, but no luck here either. Kelly then recognizes him, as they used to be on the show “Duets” together, and she sang with him back then! However, no team for Jason this time.

Mikenley Brown

She is singing “Teenage Dreams” by Katy Perry for her audition, but making it her own. She definitely has a solid voice and that indie-style voice. She did make it her own, but then it’s a little shaky at times for me. However, she got all three coaches to turn for her, and it’s another Triple Turn.

We learn more about Mikenley, who performs with her dad right now. She said she was bullied in middle school, which made her lose her light and brightness, but here she is!

Coaches’ Feedback: Adam said he didn’t even recognize the song at first. She is tasteful. Kelly said her tone is incredible, and thought it could be a country queen behind her. John said that was so cool. I was the first one to turn for you. He would love to work with her.

Final Decision: After all three coaches fight for her big time, Mikenley picks to join Team Kelly! That means she and Adam are tied with 3 wins for the Triple Turns. Kelly’s team is also filled!

Triple Turn Advantage: Carson Daly comes out with the results, but since Kelly and Adam tied with three wins. They now look at two-chair wins, so the Triple Turn Advantage goes to Kelly!

Grace Humphries

She said she has always been an old soul. Her mom said she could be the next Joni Mitchell. People call her Granny Grace. She and her brother used to sing and dance together; he was her best friend. But he passed away from cancer when he was nine years old.

For her audition, she sings “Both Sides Now” by Joni Mitchell. I am a fan of her voice. It sounds strong on this song, and she has such great control, as she got John to hit his button for her.

Coaches’ Feedback: John said he loved that vibe and spirit. He is so excited to work with her. She has such a beautiful voice and beautiful stage presence. Adam said that it is a song that doesn’t get performed enough, so he thanked her. Grace joins Team Legend on “The Voice” season 29.

Natasha Blaine on ‘The Voice’

She said this is a dream come true. Natasha works part-time at a sauna studio, but is hoping to work full-time in music soon. She just may, as she got John to turn around for her.

He said he loved her tone and style. He said the other coaches are going to be jealous that they didn’t turn for her later, as Natasha joins Team Legend.

Drew Russell

She is 32 years old and is a stay-at-home mom. Music has always been a part of her life, but put things on pause. She went into the corporate life, but now she is back to try out music again. Her dad was a member of Take 6, so she has been around music her whole life.

For her audition, she performs “Blue Bayou” by Linda Ronstadt. This is an old song, but she sounds great on it. It’s almost bluesy/country, but she sounds good on it. I think she has a strong voice and hits some big notes along the way.

Coaches’ Feedback: Adam said he is so happy he found his way to her. He thinks she’s special. Kelly said she picked a huge song with a huge range, and she will fare well in the competition because of that. John said her voice is so beautiful and has such clarity. Drew joins Team Adam.

Syd Millevoi

Her mom is an opera singer. When Syd was younger, her parents got a divorce, and they moved in with her uncle. They never left, as they have like seven people living in one house. I like her personality, and her family seems so fun. She performs in a wedding band.

For her audition, she sings “Mamma Knows Best” by Jesse J. Yeah, within seconds of the performance, Adam and John were hitting their buttons. Kelly was sitting there, shocked by the performance, and jealous that she couldn’t turn around. Syd shows off so much range on this one. So much energy, and it was so good.

Coaches’ Feedback: Kelly said she is so mad right now. Adam asked if she just won “The Voice”? Kelly said her team is full and doesn’t understand what happened. Adam said he is super stoked. The meaning of this show is what she just did. Her vocal pierced through the audience, and he is a fan. John said he is in awe right now, and she was sent from heaven to fill that final spot.

Final Decision: They all want her on their team, but she could only choose between Adam and John. She picks to join Team Legend, and now Team Legend is full!

Daniel Sovich

His friend calls him Disco Dan. He got cast to star in “Almost Famous” on Broadway. However, it was to open in April 2020, so the pandemic took over. He had to move back to Nashville and was performing in a bar when someone walked in and asked him to audition for “The Voice.”

For that audition, he sings “Just the Way You Are” by Billy Joel. This was an amazing performance, and his voice is so good. Kelly said it felt more Broadway for her. Adam said it felt more theatrical to him. No coaches turned for him, so no team for Daniel.

Jared Shoemaker

Jared was in the military. He was down in the boat and just wasn’t doing well. He read somewhere that singing can help your mood, so he started singing every day. Now he gets to do fun stuff since leaving the Navy.

For his audition, he sings “I Never Lie” by Zach Top. He has such a strong country voice. Some of those notes he hits along the way are so good. He is just so calm and collected up there. It’s all down to Adam, so he is beyond excited to get a country artist on his team without a fight, as he hit his button for him!

Coaches’ Feedback: Adam said he is so happy right now. The subtle simplicity of his voice is so refreshing. He just has one of those great voices. Kelly said she is a fan and loves the song selection. John said it’s fun because they all have country artists on their team. Jared now joins Team Adam.

The teams are all full now for the Voice Battles! What do you think of the auditions tonight?
