Meet the Four Artists Battling for the First Mic Drop on ‘The Voice’

The coaches on “The Voice” made their final pick tonight, as the artists competing for the Mic Drop have been chosen. It’s now time for the fans to vote for their favorite artist and see who wins the Mic Drop on “The Voice” season 28. This season’s new twist gives four standout performers the chance to perform at the Rose Bowl Parade. So, who is competing for the Mic Drop on “The Voice” season 28? Find out in our “The Voice” spoilers below.

Max Chambers From Team Bublé on ‘The Voice’

The first artist to get the Mic Drop button hit for them was 14-year-old Max Chambers from Team Bublé. For his Knockout performance, Chambers sang “Don’t You Worry ‘Bout a Thing” by Stevie Wonder.

The coaches were stunned by his performance, with Snoop Dogg saying he was “exceptional,” and a star was born. Niall Horan said he skills in his bones. Bublé loved Chambers and thinks he could become the youngest winner in the show’s history.

Bublé loved him so much that he proceeded to hit the Mic Drop button for him, giving viewers of “The Voice” 2025 a chance to vote for him to perform at the Rose Bowl Parade.

DEK of Hearts From Team Niall

The second artist to get that Mic Drop button hit for them was DEK of Hearts from Team Niall. For their Knockout performance, they sang “What If I Never Get Over You” by Lady A.

They are a great country trio that can definitely harmonize on those notes. They sound like one singer. Reba said they are so good, while Snoop said they are magic. Niall said this is what happens when two four-chair turns compete in a Knockout.

In the end, Niall picked DEK of Hearts as the winner on “The Voice” season 28. He then hit the Mic Drop button for them, giving them a chance to compete for a chance to perform at the Rose Bowl Parade.

Aaron Nichols From Team Reba on ‘The Voice’

Next up was Aaron Nichols from Team Reba. For his Knockout performance on “The Voice” 2025, he sang “Hurricane” by Band of Heathens.

Aaron has such a strong voice, and he reminds me of Chris Stapleton. He has a very solid country voice, and it’s just so smooth and easy to listen to. Bublé said he wishes he had that gritty thing that comes so naturally for Aaron. Snoop said Aaron is a star whether he wins or not. Niall said Aaron’s performance would be all over the internet if that was on the CMAs.

Reba said all of Aaron’s hours in Nashville paid off, which led to her picking him as the winner of this Knockout. She also went on to hit the Mic Drop button, making him the third artist competing for it this season.

YOSHIHANAA From Team Snoop

The final artist to make it through tonight was YOSHIHANAA from Team Snoop. She sang “You’re All I Need to Get By” by Marvin Gaye & Tammi Terrell.

Wow is all I can say. She has a very strong voice and hits some huge notes. However, she can also get her voice down low for some of those notes. This song has emotions, and she was bringing them out. So many big notes in this one.

While Snoop enjoyed both of the performances, he picked YOSHIHANAA as the winner of this Knockout. He then proceeded to hit his Mic Drop button for her, giving her the last spot for viewers to vote on.
