Blake Shelton & Janet Jackson to Co-Headline Concert, Leaving Fans Asking ‘Is This Real?’

Country superstar and former “The Voice” coach Blake Shelton has performed with a wide variety of artists from different genres throughout his career, from fellow country stars to his wife, pop star Gwen Stefani.

But the announcement that he’ll share the stage with music icon Janet Jackson on November 15, 2025, has thrown many fans for a loop, with many wondering on social media if it’s real. The very real concert is a 100th anniversary celebration for the United Way of Metropolitan Dallas, but getting tickets might be a challenge for fans.

Fans Say Janet Jackson & Blake Shelton ‘Seems Fake’ But It’s 100% Real

The United Way of Metropolitan Dallas first announced the epic concert starring Shelton and Jackson on September 3. As news spread on social media, fans were bewildered by the pairing.

“Is this real?” one person wrote, while another chimed in, “This cannot be real. If it is – I don’t understand.”

“Yeah, this seems fake,” someone else commented.

But the concert is, indeed, real. Marking 100 years of making a difference in North Texas, the United Way of Metropolitan Dallas will host the concert at Cottonwood Bowl Stadium on November 15.

Shelton, who also performed at the organization’s 90th anniversary concert in 2015, said in a statement to local station WFAA, “Dallas is just a few hours from where I grew up and my ranch in Oklahoma, so it almost feels like a hometown show.”

How to Get Tickets to the Blake Shelton & Janet Jackson Concert

Most tickets will go to corporate sponsors, which will pay up to $1 million for naming rights on various activities at the show and receive tickets to provide to employees or special guests.

The best way for the general public to gain access to invidivual tickets is through a giveaway by the nonprofit. Fans can submit their name and email address at the bottom of the Centennial Celebration’s information page.

There are also group tickets available, which include vouchers to the Food & Wine Festival occuring earlier in the day. A “party pack” of six tickets starts at $1750.

The concert is the grand finale of a yearlong celebration of the United Way of Metropolitan Dallas’ 100th anniversary. Over the past year alone, per WFAA, the organization assisted over 1.7 million people in education, income, and health initiatives.

Jackson is currently wrapping up her year-long Las Vegas residency at Resorts World Las Vegas, with her final show on September 20. Shelton, meanwhile, just announced his new Vegas residency at the Collosseum at Caesar’s Palace, running from January 15 – 31, 2026.
