Global superstar Nick Jonas has not shied away from sharing intimate details about his life, from dealing with mental health challenges to living with Type 1 diabetes.
But in one of his most personal — and funny — admissions yet, “The Voice” coach and mentor just revealed how much he loves to “pee in the shower.”
Turns Out Nick Jonas is Not the Only Jonas Brother Who Enjoys Peeing in the Shower
The topic of relieving oneself in the shower came up in a preview video of Nick and his equally famous brothers, Kevin and Joe, as they announced their new “Hey, Jonas!” podcast on May 19, 2026. In the 13-minute video, the Jonas Brothers covered a wide range of subjects to give fans a taste of what their podcast will be like, including their willingness to answer any questions from fans.
As an example, Joe pulled a random question out of a silver bowl on the set to pose to his brothers. As soon as he read it out loud — “Do you pee in the shower?” — Nick grinned, “Oh, yes! I do!”
When Joe added, “or in the pool,” Nick said, “Not in the pool, that’s disgusting.” Joe then admitted that, like his brother, “I love to pee in the shower!”
Nick continued, “In the shower, there’s something so soothing about warm water hitting your body and just a release of — “
Joe hilariously interjected, “Hitting your body? Like you’re peeing on your leg? What’s going on here!?”
“No, no, no, the shower water,” Kevin explained, before Nick continued, “And of course, we don’t do this in, like, a locker room type thing. This is a shower that has doors.”
That was a valid point to make, Joe noted, explaining that the brothers do “shower a lot in locker rooms, though, because we perform in arenas where, usually, there’s a sports team.”
“Those hockey players are definitely peeing in the shower,” Nick declared, and Joe quipped, “Totally. Peeing on each other in the shower, I’m sure.”
When Nick laughingly scolded him for that remark, Joe smiled and said, “I don’t know, I mean, ‘Heated Rivarly.’ There an episode there!”
All About the Jonas Brothers’ New Podcast
According to a press release from iHeart, the Jonas Brothers’ new podcast will feature “real-life moments of brotherhood through candid, unfiltered conversations about family, touring, personal moments fans rarely see and everything in between.”
“Along the way,” the release continues, “Kevin, Joe and Nick will be joined by people who know them best, from family members, close friends and longtime confidantes.”
Fans also have the chance to ask the trio any questions “they’ve always wanted to know” by leaving a message on the “Hey, Jonas” hotline at 1-844-HEY-JONAS (1-844-395-6627). If fans’ reaction to the podcast announcement is any indication, the brothers are about to be deluged with questions and listeners, as the first full episode debuts on May 20.
Social media was buzzing after the news dropped, with fans filling the comment section of the trailer and promo posts, including one who wrote on YouTube, “i didn’t know i needed a podcast of the jonas brothers but im so glad it exists”
Another gushed, “I so needed a Jonas podcast in my life! I’m crying from these questions and their answers.”
