Taylor Swift continues to do big things. Coming off the extremely successful release of “The Life of a Showgirl,” her 12th album, “Good Morning America,” announced on Oct. 13 that the former “The Voice” coach will be debuting a 6-episode behind-the-scenes docuseries about her remarkable and record-breaking “The Eras Tour.”

Following the thrilling announcement, a trailer dropped, giving fans an inside look at how Swift geared up for her shows. The clip teased jaw-dropping moments and surprise cameos from her on-stage guests, including Sabrina Carpenter, Ed Sheeran, Gracie Abrams, and her fiancé, NFL star Travis Kelce.


How to Watch Taylor Swift’s ‘The End of an Era’ Docuseries

Swifties are rejoicing after learning that Taylor Swift’s epic “The Eras Tour” will be made into a six-episode docuseries. According to “Good Morning America,” the docuseries is titled “Taylor Swift | The Eras Tour | The End of an Era,” and will premiere on Disney+ on Dec. 12.

After the first two episodes premiere on the streaming service, the remaining episodes will be released two at a time in the following weeks.

However, fans are getting an extra gift as the docuseries will be accompanied by the release of a concert film, titled “Taylor Swift | The Eras Tour | The Final Show,” which was filmed at Swift’s final concert in Vancouver, B.C., on Dec. 8, 2024. The film’s release will coincide with the premiere of the first two docuseries episodes.

“Good Morning America” also shared that for the first time ever, “The Final Show” showcases Swift performing the full “The Tortured Poets Department” set, the album she released during “The Eras Tour.”


‘The End of an Era’ Trailer Reveals How the Magic Happened

Taylor Swift shared the trailer for her highly anticipated docuseries on Instagram. She captioned it, “It was the End of an Era and we knew it. We wanted to remember every moment leading up to the culmination of the most important and intense chapter of our lives, so we allowed filmmakers to capture this tour and all the stories woven throughout it as it wound down. And to film the final show in its entirety.”

In the clip, Swift delivers a heartfelt thank you to the crew who made her unforgettable tour possible.

“People like to talk about phenomena, almost as if it was pieces falling into place, as if it just happened. The Eras Tour wasn’t when all the pieces fell into place; this tour is just when every single one of us who had so much work, pushing inch by inch, to where we all clicked together,” she says as the sneak peek shows Swift rehearsing at her shows, including with her many special guests.

She adds, “We have broken every single record with this tour. The only thing we have left is to close the book.”

According to “Good Morning America,” Swift’s “The Eras Tour” went on to gross over $2 billion in ticket sales.
