Former “Jon & Kate Plus 8” star Collin Gosselin just revealed he is about to embark on a new career opportunity!
Collin took to his Instagram Stories on Saturday, September 6 to reveal he will be writing a book.
“I’ve been given the opportunity to write my very first book,” he shared with fans. He added a red heart emoji as well.
He didn’t disclose very many details but added, “Today was a very important part of that process!”
“This morning, I had a wonderful phone call with some pretty great friends of mine, who are a part of this journey,” he continued.
The TLC alum concluded the short message by writing, “A lot of things were finalized, and drafting will start next week. Details and updates coming soon! I can’t wait to share this with you all!”
Collin Gosselin Bravely Opens Up About Strained Relationship With Siblings
He has previously opened up about his strained relationship with his siblings.
Collin, along with his seven siblings, twins Mady and Cara, and fellow sextuplets Alexis, Hannah, Aaden, Leah and Joel, appeared on the incredibly popular TLC show with their parents. The show showcased everyday life for the family as well as showed the breakdown of Jon and Kate Gosselin’s marriage.
The 21-year-old stated he does not have very much of a relationship with the majority of his sibilngs during a TikTok live in August, according to PEOPLE.
He added that he doesn’t share a lot on social media, but hopes his siblings see his posts.
“I look at it more like moving forward and just kind of sharing content, and also for like TikTok at least, unfortunately, I don’t talk to my siblings, and I very much wish that we did and that they knew who I actually was because we don’t know each other at all,” he bravely noted.
He added, “It’s still a little tough to talk about these things and to do social media in general.”
Collin Is Close With Hannah
While the family is divided, Collin is still close with his sister Hannah. Both Collin and Hannah ended up moving in with their dad after the divorce.
In his August TikTok, Collin noted he actually just recently talked to his sister.
“I actually just texted her today, you know, she’s in college doing her thing. I always say, though, Hannah’s just very like living the life, you know, like having fun, always doing something, so we catch up when we can,” he told fans.
Though Collin remains mainly quiet, he shared a cute image with his sister and dad on his graduation day in June of 2023.
