The Duggars Show Support for Erin Bates After Emotional Health Update

It has been an incredibly emotional time for Erin Bates, her husband Chad Paine, and their loved ones, after she was rushed to the ICU following the birth of her seventh baby. Paine gave fans a positive update on September 7, when he posted a short video of Erin and Henry inside the hospital. She is tenderly kissing his face. 


The Duggars React to Erin Bates’ Health Update

The footage is incredibly moving. Paine shared his thoughts and informed followers of the good news regarding Bates’ health in the caption of the Instagram post. “With tears in our eyes, we are praising the Lord that we are on the road to recovery. Your prayers have definitely touched heaven,“ he wrote.

Fans have been showing their support for the family by leaving loving messages on their Instagram throughout this emotional journey. In this post, members of the Duggar family also showed their support. 

Jessa Seewald responded to the post with, “Praise the Lord!” Her sister Jill Dillard also showed her support, writing, “Praise the Lord! Been thinking about yall and praying for you!!”

Fans have also shown their support, flooding the comment section with messages. “I am so glad they are both okay. hope Chad is also doing well. I can’t imagine the emotional toll that had to take on him,” a comment reads. “What a sight to behold.. so happy that mom and baby will be ok and miracles do happen,” another person shared. 


 Erin Bates Begins Her Long Road to Recovery

Fans have also been asking for more updates, and that answer came on September 9. Paine posted a new video on Instagram with footage of himself and Bates sharing a tender moment. In the caption, he wrote a lengthy message about the long road ahead of them as she recovers.

“Recovery is not fast or easy, but we are deeply thankful for every small step forward,” the message reads. “It has completely broken my heart to watch my Erin walk through such pain, yet to see her lifting her voice in praise to the Lord in the midst of it has been nothing short of inspiring. Her kindness and gratefulness she demonstrates to those taking care of her is nothing short of Christ in her. She has been a light wherever she goes.” 

Paine also shared how Erin had been transferred to a new hospital, and he mentioned how the nursing staff had been “so compassionate.” He ended his message by thanking fans for their support and for sending prayers, and informed fans that they are missing their other children. 

The couple are parents to Carson, 10, Brooklyn, 8, Everly, 7, Holland, 5, Finley, 3, William, 22 months, and their newborn, Henry.

Jill Dillard reacted to this post, too. “So scary. So hard. Praying for complete & quick healing!” she wrote.
