‘90 Day Fiancé’ Star Welcomes Baby Boy, Recalls Terrifying Delivery

Julia Trubkina is opening up about the frightening birth of her first child.

The “90 Day Fiancé” star revealed on Instagram that she and husband Brandon Gibbs quietly welcomed a baby boy in October 2025.

Along with a video, Trubkina shared the emotional story behind her son’s arrival, describing a long and difficult labor that ultimately led to emergency surgery.

Julia Details the Scary Delivery

“It all started at 7:00 PM,” she wrote. “The pain was intense, but I endured it, thinking they were just Braxton Hicks contractions.”

However, the pain continued throughout the night. By 2 a.m., she realized something was wrong and the couple headed to the hospital.

“The contractions were excruciating, yet labor still wouldn’t progress,” she explained.

Doctors tried several methods to help move things along, but the situation soon became more serious when their baby’s heart rate began dropping.

Trubkina revealed that medical staff were monitoring the baby closely as his heart rate was “constantly on the brink of distress.”

Julia Underwent Emergency Surgery

After nearly 20 hours of labor, doctors made the decision to move forward with surgery.

The umbilical cord had wrapped around the baby’s neck, putting additional strain on his heart.

“But you turned out to be so much stronger!” she wrote while reflecting on the moment her son was safely delivered.

The situation became even more frightening once the operation began. Trubkina said her body reacted badly to the epidural, leaving doctors with only moments to act.

“During the operation, I had to be placed under general anesthesia because my body reacted poorly to the epidural, causing me to start suffocating — the doctors had only moments to act,” she shared.

The reality star admitted she genuinely feared the worst in that moment.

“Honestly, that was the first time I truly thought it was over — that I wouldn’t wake up again,” she wrote.

Fortunately, the medical team was able to complete the surgery safely, something Trubkina said she remains deeply grateful for.

Brandon Shared His Own Update on the Scary Day

Brandon stayed with her through nearly the entire labor. Although he wasn’t allowed inside the operating room, he was able to watch through a window and later cut the umbilical cord.

“When I woke up after the operation, I saw Brandon holding my son in his arms; I was overjoyed that everything had turned out alright,” she shared.

Gibbs later reflected on the emotional experience in his own post.

“That day terrified us both, completely dividing our lives into ‘before’ and ‘after,’” he wrote, adding that after “24 grueling hours of labor,” the only thing that mattered was that their son was healthy and Trubkina was recovering.
