Michael Ilesanmi is officially turning the page on his marriage to Angela Deem.
The “90 Day Fiancé” star marked the moment on social media with a celebratory post after finalizing his divorce.
In a video shared to Instagram, Ilesanmi appeared outside a courthouse wearing a beige suit while holding up paperwork confirming the split.
The clip showed him smiling and raising the documents in the air as he acknowledged the end of the legal process.
“Finally official — divorced,” he wrote in the caption of the post. “Thank you to everyone who supported me along the way. I appreciate you all. 🙏 New chapter begins.”
Ilesanmi also added a message about his future, writing, “Single life, here I come!”
Fans and followers quickly filled the comment section with congratulatory messages, many expressing their support for the reality star as he moves forward.
What We Know About the Divorce
According to court records obtained by Us Weekly, Ilesanmi, 36, and Deem, 60, finalized their settlement agreement on March 10.
Documents from the Superior Court of Jeff Davis County revealed that the couple had been living separately and agreed to formally end their marriage after ongoing differences.
As part of the settlement, both parties agreed to keep possession of any vehicles currently titled in their own names and to remain responsible for the associated costs.
They also agreed that each would handle their own personal debts moving forward.
Additionally, both Ilesanmi and Deem waived their rights to request alimony from one another. The agreement also specified that each would cover their own attorney fees related to the divorce proceedings.
The settlement included a clause stating that neither party would knowingly make false statements about the other to third parties or release public statements intended to harm the other’s reputation.
The Former Couple Had a Turbulent Past
The couple’s relationship first gained national attention when they appeared on “90 Day Fiancé: Before the 90 Days” in 2018.
Viewers were introduced to their long-distance romance after Ilesanmi, who lives in Nigeria, first connected with Deem through social media in 2017.
Deem later traveled overseas to meet him in person, and despite skepticism from her family over their nearly 20-year age difference, the couple decided to pursue their relationship.
During that trip, Ilesanmi proposed, and the pair eventually married in 2020.
Their turbulent relationship continued to unfold on multiple installments of the 90 Day Fiancé universe, including “Happily Ever After?” and “The Last Resort.”
After years of visa complications, Ilesanmi finally moved to the United States in December 2023 to live with Deem.
However, their relationship quickly deteriorated. Just two months later, he was briefly reported missing before being found safe.
In June 2024, Deem filed for an annulment, accusing Ilesanmi of fraudulently entering the marriage. He denied the claims and filed his own legal response, stating he did not feel safe in the relationship.

Good for him! I hope he now has a peaceful life he so desperately deserves. I also hope Angela gets the help she so desperately needs!
