A major change is coming to the 90 Day franchise.
Ross Mathews has officially been tapped to host the upcoming Tell-All special for “90 Day: The Single Life,” bringing his humor — and his passion as a longtime fan — to the popular reality series.
The television personality shared the exciting news in a video announcement, making it clear just how much the opportunity means to him.
All About the Announcement
“If you know anything about me you know I love what 90 Day — duh — it’s my favorite show,” Mathews said enthusiastically while revealing his new role.
Mathews also promised viewers he won’t shy away from the tough questions fans are dying to hear answered.
“I’m going to go there. Believe me I will,” he added. “Every question you’re screaming at the TV I’m going to ask it. Why? Because I’m screaming it too.”
The upcoming reunion special, titled “90 Day: The Single Life: Tell All,” will air as a two-part event with two-hour episodes premiering May 18 and May 25 at 8 p.m. ET/PT on TLC.
Matthews Is Looking Forward to the Gig
Mathews, who also serves as a judge on “RuPaul’s Drag Race” and co-anchors “The Drew Barrymore Show,” said he’s spent years watching the franchise — and feels more than ready to dive into the drama.
“I’ve watched so many hours of ’90 Day,’ I feel like I could teach a college course,” he joked while speaking with Variety. “I can’t wait to ask the questions the fans are screaming at their TVs. Why? Because I am screaming them, too.”
He also emphasized that he takes the new role seriously.
“I take this role seriously. I want to make the ’90 Day’ fandom proud and I’m going to have so much fun,” Mathews said.
Prior to the official announcement, rumors had already begun circulating online that Mathews might be stepping into the hosting role.
The confirmation quickly sparked buzz among viewers who are eager to see how he handles the franchise’s famously dramatic reunion specials.
For years, Shaun Robinson has served as the primary Tell-All host for the 90 Day franchise since 2016.
Robinson continues to host other reunions within the franchise, including the current season of “90 Day: The Other Way.”
With Mathews stepping in for the upcoming reunion, fans can expect plenty of humor — and plenty of the tough questions they’ve been waiting to hear answered.
