Movieguide Awards Celebrate Faith & Family
HallmarkThe ceremony celebrates faith-based and family-friendly content, making “WCTH” a perfect nominee for the honorable award gala.
When Moveguide CEO Robby Baehr provided a statement about this year’s nominees, he spoke of the integrity each person and work in film has upheld.
“These nominees demonstrate what audiences are hungry for: stories anchored in faith, virtue, and timeless values,” Baehr said in the official press release that listed the 2026 nominees. “Faith-driven storytelling isn’t just meaningful, it’s powerful entertainment that resonates across generations. We’re honored to celebrate these films and the filmmakers who are bringing light to screens worldwide.”
According to the press release, films centered around family attract the largest audience for in-theater success. “Family films produce the biggest box office draws and the family film audience is the largest single demographic of moviegoers and television viewers,” the statement reads.
The 33rd Annual Movieguide Awards will be held at the Avalon Theatre in Hollywood on Friday, Feb. 6, and will be broadcast on the Great American Family network.
