“When Calls the Heart” season 13 episode 7 is set to air February 15 on Hallmark Channel and will return the series to its regular time slot after a one-time Saturday airing last week due to the Super Bowl. Hallmark shared the official synopsis for episode 7, “In a Jam,” outlining the episode’s central conflicts.
“A business proposition brings folks together as they help Minnie out of a jam. Nathan’s fire investigation puts him in harm’s way.”
The preview suggests that while Hope Valley comes together to support Minnie, Nathan’s determination to uncover the truth continues to expose him to serious risk.
With Pioneer Electric’s role exposed, the focus turns to what happens next as Nathan continues the investigation.
Hallmark’s teaser shows increased tension as the investigation moves beyond identifying the cause and toward addressing responsibility, raising the stakes for those involved and for Nathan personally.
‘When Calls the Heart’ Season 13 Episode 6 Recap
Episode 6, titled “Moment of Truth,” delivered a major turning point in the investigation. Fans finally learned that the fire was not started by the boys previously suspected, but by a transformer owned by Pioneer Electric.
Christopher, played by James Drew Dean, revealed that he was instructed by his superiors to dispose of the damaged transformer to hide the company’s involvement. Instead of throwing it into the river, he buried it.
Inspector Georgie McGill (Hearties were so happy to see Melissa Gilbert again!) returned to Hope Valley alongside Mountie Elmer Briggs, played by Austin Landon, bringing a polygraph machine to assist with the investigation.
The episode also balanced tension with lighter moments, including a dinner scene at Elizabeth Thornton’s home where Nathan was jokingly placed in the polygraph chair. When asked if Elizabeth’s lemon curd was his favorite dessert, the test showed he was lying.
“I love your lemon curd because I love you,” Nathan said, prompting Little Jack to ask if that meant Nathan planned to marry his mother.
Episode 6 ended with Christopher confessing what he knew and Bill Avery identifying the altered equipment maps as potential fraud, setting the stage for episode 7.
