Erin Murphy Mourns Late ‘Ghostbusters’ Star Jennifer Runyon After Brave Cancer Battle

After the news broke, “Bewitched” star Erin Murphy took to social media to honor Runyon, sharing a heartfelt message about the friend she says she will deeply miss.

Murphy, who starred as young Tabitha Stephens on the hit sitcom “Bewitched,” shared that her dear friend had lost her battle with cancer.

“So sad to share that my friend Jennifer Runyon Corman has passed away after a brief battle with cancer. 💔”

Murphy reflected on their friendship and the impression Runyon left on those around her.

“Some people you just know you’ll be friends with before you even meet. She was a special lady.”

She ended the message by expressing sympathy for Runyon’s loved ones. “I’ll miss you, Jenn. My thoughts are with your family and beautiful children.”


Jennifer Runyon’s Family Confirms Her Passing

Runyon’s family also shared the news in a message posted on Facebook, revealing that the actress died Friday night after a long and difficult health battle.

“This past Friday night, our beloved Jennifer passed away. It was a long and arduous journey that ended with her surrounded by her family,” the family wrote, as reported by TMZ.

They remembered her for the warmth and love she brought to the people closest to her.

“She will always be remembered for her love of life and her devotion to her family and friends,” the message continued. “Rest in peace, our Jenn.”

Runyon was 65.
