Actor and podcaster Owen Thiele, one of the stars of the hugely popular FX sitcom “Adults,” has revealed that working with a certain guest star on season 2 of the show made him so excited that he felt sick.
Thiele, 30, plays Anton Evans in the hilarious series and none other than “That’s So Raven” star Raven-Symoné, 40, will plays his sister, Talia, in the third episode (aptly entitled “Talia”) of the latest season.
The first two episodes of season 2, “The Scrub” and “Fake ID,” aired yesterday, Thursday, September 3. All eight are now available to stream.
Per Decider, Raven-Symoné isn’t the only guest star to appear in season 2. The likes of Susie Essman, Gaten Matarazzo, Anania, Caleb Simpson, and Tiff Baira all make appearances.
However, it was indeed the former Disney Channel star, who rose to fame in the 1990s on shows like “The Cosby Show” and “Hangin’ with Mr. Cooper,” as well as the 1998 comedy movie “Dr. Dolittle ,” who caused an intense physical reaction in Thiele.

Thiele said “So, Raven-Symoné is the reason I do this. Genuinely, she is everything. A queer black woman leading a television show was everything to me. It’s the reason I felt I could do this. So finding out that she was in the show and playing my sister, I was like, literally, I felt sick. I think it’s the best thing that’s ever happened to me. That was very cool.”
According to Us Magazine, Thiele’s character Anton is convinced that Raven-Symoné’s character Talia, his sister, plans to ask him to be a sperm donor for her and her partner. However, he is ultimately left disappointed when he discovers she has something else in mind. Hilarity naturally ensues.
Thiele recently posted about “Adults” season 2 on social media, much to the excitement of his fans and followers.
Thiele’s Fans & Followers Are Hyped for Season 2 (And 3!) of ‘Adults’
Following the airing of the first two episodes of season 2 of “Adults,” and the availability of all eight to stream, Owen Thiele took to his Instagram account to let his 426,000 followers know they can now watch them.
The post includes a carousel of no less than 16 photographs from time spent filming the second season of the show.
Thiele’s caption on his post reads, “welcome to the family ❤️ ADULTS S2 IS OUT NOW ON FX AND HULU WHO’S WATCHING.”
It garnered lots of attention from fans of the show who expressed excitement about it — with some even demanding a third season already.
One of Thiele’s followers commented, “we need a season 3 renewal!!!!”
Another follower wrote, “START FILMING THE NEXT SEASON NOW IM NOT PLAYING WITH U BRUH.”
Someone else said, “Episode 4 🦝 had me laughing so hard I was crying! Brilliant!!! That scene with the possum…. 🤣🤣🤣.”
Finally, one Instagram user proclaimed, “this is the finest cast to ever grace my screen oh lord.”
