As much as we may not want to admit it, we’re getting closer to the end of “Jujutsu Kaisen” — at least temporarily. Today on March 5, season 3 episode 9 (also called episode 56) airs at 9 a.m. Pacific/12 p.m. Eastern. Unfortunately, after that, there are only a few episodes left to enjoy before the first cour comes to an end.
There Are Only 3 Episodes Left in Cour 1 of Season 3
Season 3 of “Jujutsu Kaisen” is being divided into two cours. After today, there are only three episodes left in the first cour, with the finale airing on March 26.
Check out the full remaining schedule, according to the anime’s official website.
- Episode 10: March 12 at 9 a.m. Pacific
- Episode 11: March 19 at 9 a.m. Pacific
- Episode 12: March 26 at 9 a.m. Pacific
Crunchyroll is also airing the “Jujutsu Kaisen” English dub episodes, which are two weeks behind the subs. So these will still air after March 26 until their cour is completed as well.
Where in the Manga Will the Season End?
Unconfirmed rumors suggest this season will end around the Sendai Colony arc from the manga. These rumors stem from a leaked episode title that refers to the final episode of this cour as being simply titled, “Sendai Colony.”
Some fans think this means the last episode will be a longer, extended episode since it doesn’t have the typical “part 1” or “part 2” terminology from this season. However, this is just speculation and is not confirmed.
Manga readers are also guessing that the finale will include at least some appearance from a battle with Yuta, since it’s included in the opening song.
Unfortunately, we don’t know yet exactly when cour 2 is going to return. Hopefully, MAPPA and Crunchyroll will release that information soon.
What we do know is that fans are hyped about what’s going to happen next, and whether we will finally get to see Gojo grace our screens again in cour 2.
Gege Created an Album Celebrating This Season’s Opening Song & Manga Readers Say It Contains ‘Spoilers in 4K’
To tide you over in the meantime, Jujutsu Kaisen’s manga creator Gege Akutami created a full album of artwork to celebrate the season 3 opening song, Aizo. The detials are incredible, and have fueled even more rumors about what to expect in the second cour.
One person wrote in response to seeing the artwork: “Oh wow. So it will really end/cover that moment…”
“Gege drawing spoilers in 4K again,” another person commented.
“LMFAOOO GEGE KNOWS EXACTLY WHAT HE’S DOING,” another person wrote.
