The “Big Brother 28” house is preparing for its next potential power shift as several players explore working together against the season’s returning competitors.
On the Aug. 11 Rob Has a Podcast live feed update, Taran Armstrong and guest Mike Bloom recapped Day 35 as houseguests navigated the aftermath of the Veto ceremony. Lala remains Head of Household with Barrett, Chuk and Haley on the block after Kamu won the Power of Veto and decided not to use it.
Although Haley has remained in a vulnerable position throughout the week, Armstrong and Bloom explained that conversations inside the house have increasingly moved beyond Thursday’s eviction. Several players are already considering what the next phase of the game could look like.
Meanwhile, Kamu continues to find himself in a potentially valuable position between different groups.
Big Brother 28 Players Consider Move Against Returning Players
Lala and Taylor have spent much of the week discussing their future strategy, and additional players are now becoming involved.
According to Armstrong and Bloom, Lala, Taylor, Melody and Mallory held a late-night strategy conversation about potentially working together against the returning players.
The discussions come as anti-veteran sentiment continues to develop among some of the newer houseguests.
Dee Valladares, Rick Devens and Angela Murray entered BB28 with experience from previous reality competitions, making their long-term positions an increasingly important topic as the game moves closer to jury.
Yash and Dee have also discussed the developing divide between the veterans and newcomers, while players consider how future jury votes could influence their decisions.
At the same time, Thursday’s eviction remains unsettled enough that another change cannot be completely dismissed.
Taylor attempted to help Chuk improve his campaign as he and Haley faced growing social isolation. Armstrong and Bloom discussed the possibility of votes moving again before eviction night, something BB28 houseguests have already demonstrated they are willing to consider.
ParamountKamu Becomes Valuable to Both Sides
Kamu’s position continued to attract attention after his decision not to use the Veto.
The returning players have discussed the possibility of keeping Kamu around as a strong competitor who could serve as a shield later in the game.
However, Angela cautioned Dee against underestimating him.
According to Armstrong and Bloom, Angela argued that allowing a capable competitor to advance too far could eventually create a different problem, particularly if Kamu continues strengthening his relationships elsewhere in the house.
Kamu’s position gives him an opportunity to maintain connections with multiple groups while other players increasingly reveal where their loyalties lie.
Information about another alliance also began spreading.
Barrett and Drew revealed details about their FAP alliance to Devens and Dee, giving the returning players more information about a group that had previously remained less exposed.
Armstrong and Bloom noted that sharing information so freely could make it easier for rival groups to identify relationships and future targets.
Still, the changing landscape means few alliances appear completely secure.
Between new partnerships forming, established groups becoming exposed and multiple players already thinking beyond this week’s eviction, Lala’s HOH reign could have consequences that extend well past Thursday.
Kamu’s growing influence adds another unpredictable element. Both sides recognize the advantages of working with him, but they also understand the threat he could eventually pose.
As Armstrong and Bloom discussed, another late vote shift remains possible. Regardless of who leaves, however, the groundwork for the next battle in the “Big Brother 28” house is already taking shape.
