Kamuela “Kamu” Kirk made his decision at Monday’s Power of Veto ceremony, and he chose not to use the Veto.
That leaves Haley Thogmartin, Chuk Anyanwu and Barrett Pfeiffer on the block. This means Thursday’s BB Block Buster competition will determine who ultimately goes home.
Kamu Keeps the Nominations the Same
Kamu’s Red Corner allies did not seem surprised by his decision. Meanwhile, Chuk and Haley have spent the past several days complaining. They are the only players still trying to keep their alliance together.
Kamu’s choice not to use the Veto could further strain those relationships. However, he appears to have other priorities. Dee Valladares, Rick Devens, Yash Patel, and Taylor Brown have all been talking with Kamu about new alliance possibilities. This is allowing him to rebuild his position in the house.
The Week 5 Power of Veto ceremony ended with Kamu not using the Veto. LaTrice “LaLa” Verrett did not need to name a replacement nominee. Barrett, Chuk, and Haley remain the final nominees.
Chuk or Haley in Trouble
Barrett currently appears to be in a relatively safe position. This leaves Chuk and Haley as the two players most at risk of eviction.
Haley emerged as the leading target in much of the discussion earlier this week. Yet, some houseguests have started considering whether they should keep her around for now.
Keeping Haley could give the house another potential target. However, it could also backfire if she wins another Head of Household competition.
Block Buster Will Decide the Eviction
With the Veto ceremony complete, the nominees will have to fight for their spot in the game during Thursday’s BB Block Buster.
Kamu’s decision ensures that Barrett, Chuk and Haley will remain the players competing for safety.
The outcome could reshape the alliances inside the “Big Brother 28” house once again. This is particularly true as Kamu continues working to rebuild his social game after the previous blindside.
Chuk’s eviction would also leave Haley vulnerable. On the other hand, sending Haley out would weaken the Red Corner and change the balance of power heading into the next round.
