‘Big Brother’ Fans Pitch ‘All Stars’ Cast—and Some Picks May Surprise You

With “Big Brother” season 28 on the horizon, some fans believe the show could be due for another All Stars edition.

The franchise has only done the format twice before—season 7 in 2006 and season 22 in 2020—bringing back iconic names like Janelle Pierzina, Dr. Will Kirby, and Danielle Reyes, along with more recent players like Cody Calafiore and Tyler Crispen.

As speculation builds, viewers are already debating who should return and making the case for some unexpected choices. With no theme confirmed, one viral post has already sparked debate over who should be included.

Fans Share Their Unexpected Picks for a Potential ‘All Stars’ Cast

The conversation picked up steam after X user @shakenjak3 posed a simple question to followers and fans:

“Scenario: BB28 is All Stars 3. Who is your biggest ‘hear me out’ houseguest?”

In other words, a “hear me out” pick is a less obvious choice—someone fans might have to convince others deserves a spot on an All Stars cast.

Some fans came in strong with passionate arguments for players they believe were overlooked the first time around. The post garnered nearly 50,000 views since it was posted on March 21; over 170 replies were made under the post.

“Any answer other than Brittany Hoopes is wrong and I will die on the hill that she could have won bb24,” the original post’s author wrote to kick off the conversation, making the case for the season 24 houseguest, who was closely aligned with Michael Bruner but often seen as playing a more emotional game.

Others pointed to Michelle Meyer, better known as “Big Meech” from BB18, with one fan confidently declaring, “She’s taking it.” Meyer became a memorable figure for her (very) emotional reactions and unpredictable gameplay.

More recent players also made the list, including Blue Kim from season 25 and Morgan Pope and winner Ashley Hollis from season 27. The latter is a surprising pick; despite her victory, she wasn’t necessarily viewed as a dominant or traditional “All Stars” archetype.

Some fans reached further back into the show’s history with picks like Steve Moses, the winner of season 17. He was a more quiet competitor early on in the game, but elevated his gameplay with his under-the-radar strategy that ultimately helped him secure the victory.

Even newer-era players like Matthew “Turner” Turner from season 24 and Ava Pearl from the most recent season were floated as potential returnees, with one fan pleading, “Please hear me out y’all 😭,” while pitching their choice.

Not Everyone Agrees on What Counts as an ‘All Star’

Beyond the individual names, the thread also sparked a broader debate among fans about what actually qualifies someone as an All Star.

When one user shared a GIF of Brett Robinson from season 20, another pushed back, writing, “This is a pretty popular opinion and wouldn’t classify as a ‘hear me out’ contestant.” The original poster responded, “I haven’t seen anyone else say it,” highlighting how subjective the conversation can be.

Similarly, the mention of BB24’s Michael Bruner, a dominant competition player who set multiple records, led some to question whether he’s too obvious of a choice for a hypothetical All Stars season.

As one fan put it, “Some of y’all are confusing ‘all stars’ for ‘returnees,'” underscoring the divide between casting fan favorites versus players with unfinished business.

  1. How about a cast of first evicted house guests? If must be, “All Star”, please, please, please NO Tyler or Danielle, Curie or Mama Fe. Thank you.
