“Big Brother” alum “Evel Dick” Donato is giving his followers a look into his past with daughter Daniele Donato.
The season 8 winner, 62, took to X late on March 21 to share a series of throwback photos featuring Daniele, 39, as a young child, including candid moments from beach outings and everyday life.
In one post, he wrote, “Dani and I when she was about 3 or 4 years old,” alongside a scenic photo of the two by the water. Another showed Daniele running on the beach with her brother, captioned, “Vincent & Daniele when she was 3 and he was 4.”
He also shared a close-up image of himself holding Daniele as a toddler, simply writing, “Dani at about 2 years old.”
A Complicated ‘Big Brother’ History
GettyFans of “Big Brother” will remember Dick and Daniele famously appeared on season 8 together, initially entering the house estranged and unaware they would both be part of the cast.
Over the course of the season, the father-daughter duo attempted to rebuild their relationship, forming one of the show’s most memorable storylines—and one of the show’s most formidable alliances. Their dynamic ultimately helped carry Dick to a win, while Daniele finished as runner-up.
When they returned for season 13 as part of a duos twist—which also included Rachel Reilly and Brendon Villegas and Jeff Schroeder and Jordan Lloyd—the two were no longer as close, with their relationship having shifted again in the years following their original season.
Dick’s time in the house was also cut short when he exited the game early due to a personal medical matter. He later revealed he had tested positive for HIV, a diagnosis he has since spoken about publicly.
Daniele also appeared on BB22, where she was evicted to become the fifth juror.
While their appearances showed moments of reconciliation, their relationship off-screen has remained complex in the years since.
Where Do Dick & Daniele Stand Today?
Though Dick has been open over the years when asked about their relationship, the updates have been infrequent.
In a February 27 post on X, Dick replied to a fan who asked the status of his relationship with his daughter.
“We haven’t spoken since my mother died over 10 years ago,” he wrote.
He gave the same update in 2020: “I don’t understand why you guys get the fact that we don’t talk…The last time we spoke was when my Mother died 5 years ago.”
Despite that distance, Dick’s recent posts offer a glimpse into earlier memories: moments that predate their time on reality TV and the public attention that followed.

The throwback photos caught the attention of “Big Brother” fans. While Dick did not explain what prompted the posts, the images stand out as a rare, more personal look at his relationship with Daniele.

“Beautiful photo Dani looks so much like you,” another said.
