Brittany Cartwright Reveals Why She’d Say Yes to ‘Dancing With the Stars’

Brittany Cartwright is game to join “Dancing with the Stars.”

In January 2026, “The Valley” star appeared on “Boyfriend Material with Harry Jowsey,” where she confirmed she would happily join the ABC celebrity ballroom competition if asked.

“I think I would,” Cartwright, 37, told Jowsey when asked if she’d ever do DWTS. “I think it would be fun because I do have, like, a cheerleading background. So hopefully, I would be able to like pick it up, you know, but I don’t know. I think that would be fun.”

If Cartwright were to join DWTS, she’d be one of many Bravo stars to do so. Cartwright’s former “Vanderpump Rules” co-stars Lisa Vanderpump and Ariana Madix have both competed on the show, as have several “Real Housewives” stars.

Cartwright has appeared in multiple reality shows, including “Vanderpump Rules,” “The Valley,” and “Jax and Brittany Take Kentucky.” Those shows all followed her as she lived her regular life.

On Jowsey’s podcast, the mom of one was asked what kind of reality show she’d like to do if she could create if she could create one now.

“That’s hard,” Cartwright admitted. “It’s a hard one just because I mean all my reality shows have been like all about my life and just like follow, you know? Like, let’s do something fun following what I’m doing.“

She then revealed she’s like an adventurous show filmed with her friends.

“I think it would really fun to like travel with a bunch of your closest friends to, like, a crazy location and like do different like crazy activities every day,” she said. “ Not like jumping out of helicopters, but like new experiences and stuff. Like, well I love sharks. Like if we had to like get into a shark cage or something like you know, and it’s just like all these different reality stars that are like bougie you know. Like just something like that would be cool.”

Brittany Cartwright Had a Difficult Time on One Reality Show

In 2025, Cartwright met her match when she competed in the fourth season of “Special Forces: America’s Toughest Test.” The intense Fox competition series proved to be difficult for the Kentucky native, who ended up being the first celebrity to go home.

Cartwright found herself struggling in the heat as she carried heavy gear through Morocco. She ultimately quit the show halfway through the first day. “I knew I was going to be first,” she said as she exited. “So embarrassing.”

Cartwright admitted she received mixed reactions over her short-lived appearance on the show.

“The reaction [to my early elimination] has been a mixed bag of haters and [then] people saying, ‘You tried and you faced your biggest fear.’ So it’s been a lot of ups and downs,” Cartwright told Us Weekly last fall. “But I put myself out there and I left my comfort zone. No matter what, I’m proud of that and of the fact that I faced my biggest fear, which was heights. I did that, so I can still walk away proud.”

“I’m still disappointed in myself that I left,” she admitted. “I did not want to be the first person that left, but I’m also proud of myself for knowing when it was time for me to walk away because it was a lot.”
