Brittany Cartwright Responds to ‘The Valley’ Salary Rumors With One Word

Brittany Cartwright shut down rumors about her salary on “The Valley.”

In January 2026, the Bravo TV star appeared on “Boyfriend Material with Harry Jowsey,” where she confirmed that rumors about her paycheck are “false.”

After Jowsey noted that Cartwright’s salary on “The Valley” has been estimated to be between $5,000 and $25,000 per episode, she quickly replied, “False.”

Cartwright, 37, then told Jowsey her pay was actually “higher” than reported. “Let’s go!” she added. “I’m not gonna say exactly how much, but…”

In April 2025, an insider told The U.S. Sun that Cartwright’s ex, Jax Taylor, received $30,000 per episode while Cartwright and fellow Bravo veteran Kristen Doute received between $20 to $25 thousand dollars. “And the newer full-time cast got $5-10k per episode depending on how much they filmed,” the insider claimed. That previous estimate put Cartwright’s salary between $240,000 to $300,000 for 12 episodes of the Bravo reality show.

Cartwright filed for divorce from Taylor in 2024. She has stated that she does not want to move her 4-year-old son, Cruz, out of the Valley Village, California, home that she and Taylor purchased together more than five years ago.

“I am staying,” Cartwright said on her “When Reality Hits” podcast in 2025. “She is mine. One hundred percent, this is my home. Still figuring out a lot of stuff with Jax’s stuff, but hopefully whenever our divorce is finalized, that will be all taken care of. But I am staying here. I do not want to move Cruz.”

On Jowsey’s podcast, Cartwright admitted Taylor owes her money towards the mortgage after falling behind on payments when they originally separated.

“I don’t care to pay my mortgage,” she added. “It’s his taxes on top of the mortgage, so like my mortgage is fine, but the extra stuff that he took out, which this was all on the show. The extra stuff that he took out that I am now having to pay monthly. Hopefully, we’ll figure that out with the divorce.”

Cartwright also revealed that co-parenting with Taylor has its “ups and downs,” but that she is able to stay strong for the sake of her son.

Brittany Cartwright Gave a Dating Update

As for dating, Cartwright had a short-lived romance with Brandon Hanson, but it was long-distance.

On an October 2025 episode of her podcast, she confirmed the relationship “did not last.” “We were very good friends before we started dating. It was kind of like a whirlwind relationship,” she said. “It ended amicably, but I just could not do the long distance, and he’s got a lot of obligations with his three kids and jobs, and we lived three hours away, so it was just too tough to keep it going. We really cared about each other.”

Three months later, Cartwright told Jowsey she’s “single as a pringle.”

“I’ve been single for over two years now, like separated. Hopefully, divorced within a month,” “The Valley” star added. “But I think I had to work on myself a lot after that and I’m just kind of like, I don’t have to be in a relationship. I don’t need a man for anything really.”

“I’ve got my own house, my own money,” Cartwright said. “I’ve got, you know, everything. I can do everything on my own, but I do want a partner eventually, just to have fun with and enjoy life with. But it’s not something I’m like, ‘I have to have a boyfriend.’ I just want to have fun right now.”
