Brittany Cartwright Says Tom Sandoval ‘The Valley’ Cameo Is a Stretch

Brittany Cartwright is speaking out after Tom Sandoval said he might appear on “The Valley”, and she is not fully convinced it makes sense, according to US Weekly.

The reality TV star said a possible cameo feels unlikely because he is not part of the group shown on the series.

Her comments come weeks after Sandoval shared that he had been approached about appearing on the Bravo show.

The timing lines up with ongoing press for season 3, which premiered April 1, 2026. The conversation now centers on whether Sandoval fits into the current cast dynamic. Cartwright made it clear the issue is not personal, but about real-life connections. She said the show works because the cast actually spends time together. That is why she thinks bringing him in would feel forced.

Cartwright, 37, spoke to Us Weekly and addressed the idea directly. “I mean, no ill will towards Sandoval, but he doesn’t hang out with any of us,” she said in the interview published April 16, 2026.

She added that while he may still be close with Tom Schwartz, she does not see him around the group. “None of us in the group really hang out with him or anything,” she said.

The “Vanderpump Rules” alum said the show depends on real relationships. “It would be a stretch,” she told the outlet about adding Sandoval to the mix.

She also pointed out that the cast is already large, which makes new additions harder to balance on screen. “We just got such a big cast. Like, goodness,” she added.

Cartwright also addressed her overall approach this season. She said she tries to stay neutral when conflict comes up.

“I just see the best in people, and I want the best for everybody,” she said, adding that she still stands up for herself when needed.

According to Bravo’s official season 3 details, “The Valley” follows a tight group that includes Kristen Doute, Lala Kent, Luke Broderick, Janet and Jason Caperna, Danny and Nia Booko, Jasmine Goode, Jesse Lally, Michelle Saniei and Zack Wickham. The network also confirmed that Lala Kent and Tom Schwartz joined the cast full-time this season.

Sandoval, 43, spoke about the show in a March 2026 interview with Us Weekly while promoting “House of Villains” on Peacock. He confirmed he has been approached about appearing. “I’ve gone back and forth about “The Valley”, you know, wanting to be on it, not wanting to be on it,” he said.

He made it clear nothing is locked in. “I would be open to something, but it just depends on where I’m at in my life,” he said. He also explained that discussions have been about a smaller role. “A quick little cameo… like a pop in,” he said, noting he has not been asked to join the cast in a major way.

Sandoval added that any appearance would likely include his relationship with Victoria Lee Robinson. He said she is unsure about being on reality TV. “It can be overwhelming,” he told Us Weekly, pointing to the intensity of public attention.

His current focus remains on “House of Villains”, where he appeared as part of the latest season on Peacock. That project has kept him active in reality TV while separate from the “The Valley” cast.

The broader context also matters. “The Valley” is a spinoff of “Vanderpump Rules”, where Sandoval was a central figure for years. The new series follows a different stage of life for many former cast members, focusing on relationships, careers, and family changes in Los Angeles.

Cartwright’s comments show how that shift affects casting decisions. The show is built around a group that already interacts off camera. Based on her interview, that is the main reason she believes Sandoval does not naturally fit into the current setup.
