BravoCon 2025 kicked off on Nov. 14, with the cast of Bravo’s “The Valley” taking the stage to discuss what fans can expect from the highly anticipated third season.
For Brittany Cartwright, who faced a challenging season 2 following her separation from Jax Taylor, she opened up about how her storyline will change in the new season, revealing that viewers can expect more “funny moments.” However, will Taylor appear in season 3 at all?
Brittany Cartwright Reveals Whether Fans Will See Jax Taylor on ‘The Valley’ Season 3
GettyOne of the most talked-about moments on the first day of BravoCon 2025 was having the entire cast of “The Valley” on stage to discuss their upcoming new season. As Brittany Cartwright spoke, she addressed rumors on whether her estranged spouse, Jax Taylor, will appear in season 3 at all.
Cartwright confidently shared, “Absolutely not,” getting cheers and applause from her fans.
Lauren WeigleDuring the panel, Cartwright also shared how different filming the new season was for her.
“It was great not to be harassed all season long,” she said, receiving more cheers from the fans. “You know, it was nice to have a break and just be able to focus on me and my son.”
When the host then asked if viewers would get to see a much “lighter” season 3, Cartwright teased, “Oh, yeah, much lighter, a lot more fun is had. A lot more funny moments this season, so I’m excited for that.”
As fans may recall, season 2 highlighted a very challenging time for Cartwright and her family, as Taylor sought help for his anger issues at a rehab facility, he continued to bombard her with rage-filled texts and left her facing tremendous debt.
Taylor ‘Blindsided’ the Cast When He Announced His Departure
GettyIn July, Taylor announced (via Variety) that he was leaving “The Valley” to focus on his sobriety so that he could be the best version of himself for his son, Cruz, whom he shares with Cartwright.
“Right now, my focus needs to be on my sobriety, my mental health, and coparenting relationship,” he said. “Taking this time is necessary for me to become the best version of myself — especially for our son, Cruz.”
However, a report by People stated that the cast were “blindsided” by his decision to leave, apparently not telling any of them of his choice to no longer film.
“They were not given any advance notifications about his exit,” a source shared. “Most of the cast were notified that filming was going to begin at the end of the summer, and they expected Jax would be a part of the new season because — even as lately as yesterday — he hadn’t said otherwise. This is a huge surprise.”
While it might have seemed possible that Taylor would appear occasionally in the new season, given that he continues to co-parent Cruz with Cartwright and remains friends with co-star Jason Caperna, Cartwright made it clear at BravoCon that Taylor will definitely not be on camera.
That means fans can anticipate a much more fun and playful season for Cartwright. And, she definitely deserves that.
