“The Valley” star Brittany Cartwright is opening up while at BravoCon in Las Vegas on Friday, Nov. 14!
She took to the stage with other cast members and revealed how it was to film the latest season without her ex Jax Taylor.
“It was great to not be harassed all season long,” she told the crowd. Cartwright added how she needed the much needed break from Taylor.
“It was nice to have a break and just be able to focus on me and my son. So it was a great experience,” the 36-year-old added.
While the host of the event mentioned how the past season wasn’t the easiest for viewers to watch as Cartwright and Taylor’s relationship crumbled, she revealed how it was to film the upcoming season.
“Much lighter a lot more fun is had. A lot more funny moments, so I’m excited for that,” she proudly told the crowd.
Cartwright Gives Fans a Relationship Update
The Kentucky native confirmed that she is in fact single!

Though she just confirmed that she is single, she has previously dished on how it has been to reenter the dating pool.
“[It’s] great because I just hadn’t had like attention or affection in my marriage for like a long time, so I lost a lot of confidence,” Cartwright noted. “And being like made to feel like beautiful again, and it really helped my confidence come back.”
Where Things Stand With Taylor
Earlier in the month, Cartwright gave an update on where things stand with Taylor as the two try to navigate co-parenting.
“It’s going,” she said at the time. She added that while there are some things going on that she isn’t willing to discuss, she remains focused on her son.
“But you know, I’m very much a full-time mom and I love it. And I appreciate that. I love everything.”
The Bravo star kept it positive and reiterated at the end of the day Cruz is all that matters.
“You know, I think Jax is trying to work on himself,” she added. “So I hope that, you know, we can continue to work on our co-parenting relationship and just get better and stronger all the time. And hopefully, one day, it will be a very successful co-parenting relationship, because that’s what really matters. Cruz is always going to come first.”
