Ciara Miller Reveals If She’d Be ‘The Bachelorette’ After Fan Demand

“Summer House” star Ciara Miller is living the single life right now and just made it pretty clear she won’t go on a certain dating show to change that.

The reality TV star made headlines after her ex, West Wilson, started dating her good friend Amanda Batula. The relationship news not only shocked viewers and Miller herself, but also sparked demand from fans to see Ciara bounce back as the lead of “The Bachelorette.”

In her first interview since the Amanda-West situation went viral, Miller addressed the fan casting and her future in reality TV in general.

Would Ciara Miller Do ‘The Bachelorette’?

As part of a Glamour cover story released on April 17, the reporter mentioned to Miller that “some fans are asking for you to be the next Bachelorette.”

Ciara was quick to respond, saying she would never do it. Why? “I’m way too private,” she shared.

When asked whether she was also “happy being single during this season of your life,” Miller insisted she was. “I’m so happy being single. Honestly, I can’t imagine anyone being in my apartment. I don’t think it’s a bad thing to be single,” she explained.

Miller Defends Her Dating History

She also opened up a bit about being judged for the men she’s dated in the past, after relationships with both Wilson and “Southern Charm” star Austen Kroll.

“I do feel like I get a lot of grief for dating people,” she said, noting she “doesn’t like” it.

“But here’s the thing: I’ve only technically dated two people publicly. For people to make a really roundabout statement about my taste based on two people is annoying and frustrating,” she continued.

Miller then said the grief should be put on the men themselves, not the women who date them.

“Why do we put this pressure on young women like it’s our fault for not seeing who this person was immediately?” she wondered. “It’s our fault for having bad taste in men, when men often present themselves as one way for the first three months and then completely end up being someone totally different.”

Her Future In Reality TV

While “The Bachelorette” is definitely off the table, Miller said she is still enjoying being on a reality show in her single era. That being said, it might not be a lifelong career for her.

“I don’t necessarily see myself raising my kids on reality TV, or doing that chapter of my life on reality TV once I do settle down,” she also told Glamour. “But it’s really great for me right now as a single girl living in New York City.”

“But I want to be clear: I’m always grateful and thankful for reality TV. I feel like I’ve met my greatest friends from reality TV,” she insisted. “And it’s truly taught me so much about myself and who I am and what I can endure. It’s made me change in the best of ways. It’s given me the confidence that I have here today and some of the greatest moments of my life.”

Crediting reality TV with being able to buy a home for her grandparents, she added that she’s “really thankful” for the experience so far.

New episodes of “Summer House” Season 10 air Tuesdays on Bravo.
