ABC’s “Dancing With the Stars” has become a must-watch reality TV competition series in households across the U.S. In October 2025, Vulture reported that during season 34, the show became “the most-watched unscripted reality show on TV.”
Perhaps its star-studded casting has helped DWTS reach record viewership. Last season featured contestants from Hulu’s hit series “The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives,” Dylan Efron, fresh off his win on “The Traitors” season 3, beloved actress Elaine Hendrix, and wildlife conservationist Robert Irwin, who ultimately took home the mirrorball trophy.
As fans eagerly await news about season 35, speculation is already swirling about the next contestants, with a “Summer House” star hoping he could make the cut.
Carl Radke Shares He’d Like to Compete on ‘Dancing With the Stars’

Carl Radke, a fan-favorite from the Bravo series since its early days, recently opened up to Page Six’s “Virtual Reali-Tea” at his Brooklyn, New York, hotspot, Soft Bar, about which other reality television shows he could see himself joining.
Admitting that he is currently dating, Radke shared that he could definitely see himself on “The Bachelor.” It’s an especially intriguing idea given that the show recently introduced “The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives” star Taylor Frankie Paul as season 22’s “The Bachelorette,” a first for the series since the lead is usually a former contestant.
However, his dream is to join the future cast of “Dancing With the Stars.”
Although Radke did not share many details about why he’d want to join the series, fans can already imagine him on the dancefloor. Could he be paired with professional dancer Jenna Johnson or Daniella Karagach for the perfect DWTS duo?
Radke is currently starring on the milestone 10th season of “Summer House,” and recently released his deeply personal memoir titled “Cake Eater.” With DWTS often selecting contestants fresh off popular series or trending in the news, Radke could be a great addition for the ballroom.
Fans React Positively to Radke Joining DWTS

“Love this for him,” a Reddit user wrote. “I think that would be fun! Have no idea carl has any talent for that, but if he is into to it, I am too!” Another comment read.
“I’m honestly down with this idea,” a fan shared. “I support this 🙂 it would boost his confidence too. Would be cute,” another read.
Radke had recently shared that he strongly believed season 10 of “Summer House” would be the last time fans would see him spending the summer with OGs Kyle Cooke, Amanda Batula, and Lindsay Hubbard.
“It was emotional. It was exciting, but I felt like this might be the last time that the core group might be together,” he told 92NY about filming the season. Radke is also not part of the “Summer House” spinoff, “In the City,” which means that it would be the perfect opportunity for Radke to be a part of another reality show.
