Bravo’s “Summer House” season 10 premiere kicked off with the cast’s annual Fourth of July Hamptons house party, complete with carnival-themed fun, farm animals, and pie-throwing antics, but amid the festivities, Kyle Cooke and Amanda Batula’s relationship took center stage.
No one was more concerned for the state of their marriage than Carl Radke, who, as fans will remember, officiated their 2021 wedding. It was clear to Radke that something was going on with his good friends, and he wasn’t afraid to address their marriage head-on.

GettyDuring the Feb. 3 episode of “Summer House” season 10, Carl Radke opened up about his concerns regarding the state of Kyle Cooke and Amanda Batula’s relationship, sharing with Ciara Miller that Cooke’s recent venture into DJing appeared to be taking a serious toll on his marriage. (The new season was filled in the summer of 2025, before Cooke and Batula announced their split.)
As Miller shares that Cooke has been “staying out all night” and “partying with random [expletive] people,” Radke tells her, “That’s the part that makes me nervous, just for him and [Amanda]. Like, four or five months ago, he was DJ’ing [on], like, a Thursday night at Penn State. And, like, you’re going to Penn State on a Thursday night? It just seems a little off.”
Later in a confessional, Radke went on to share that Cooke’s lifestyle over the past year had begun to feel misaligned with where he believed his priorities should be.
“This other kind of life that he’s been leading the last 12 months, which is like DJ’ing and hosting these parties, isn’t aligned with what should be going on in his life, which is really committing to his wife, getting back to kind of a good foundation in his relationship, and planning for a future in that relationship,” he shared.
“If you’re just barreling down the highway a million miles an hour, this whole thing could blow up,” he added. “And he’s gonna have nobody.”
During their Fourth of July party, Radke spoke to Cooke about his relationship, sharing his concerns that the couple seemed to be “drifting” apart.
Per the season 10 trailer, viewers will eventually see the challenges the couple faces as shifting priorities start to take a toll on their marriage.
Radke Shares How He Supported Cooke Through Marriage Challenges This Season
BravoSpeaking to The Daily Dish, Radke shared insight into how he supported Cooke during the new season, which, as the trailer shows, features the couple navigating some particularly heavy moments.
“With Kyle, you’ll see a lot on this coming season of me and him having many conversations just about some things he’s feeling and experiencing. I was trying to be a guide, and also point the mirror back into his face — like, ‘Listen, man, this is what I’m seeing, and here’s maybe recommendations that might work for you,'” he shared.
Radke continued, “I was trying to guide him on maybe taking a little bit of a break from going on tour and focusing on certain things with her, or writing her a letter … I don’t think it helped, but I’m just trying to be a friend and be supportive.”
Fans will also see Batula leaning on Miller and Lindsay Hubbard for support as she navigates the ups and downs of her marriage. Fans already saw a glimpse in the premiere with Miller asking Batula if she still wanted children, to which Batula explained that Cooke’s new career venture made it extremely hard on her.
“I’m like you’re putting yourself in compromising situations where people are assuming the worst. To be completely honest with you, I think something that’s really tough for me is when the whole internet is rooting for our divorce,” she shared.
