Carl Radke Makes Surprising Admission About Lindsay Hubbard 2 Years After ‘Summer House’ Split

Carl Radke is in a better place with Lindsay Hubbard more than two years after he ended their engagement on camera.

In January 2026, the ”Summer House” star appeared on Morgan’s Pop Talk podcast where he revealed to host Morgan Paige that his friendship with his former fiancée is starting to feel like old times. In a separate sitdown, Radke, 41, admitted that Hubbard was right when she gave him important career advice back when they were still a couple—advice that he didn’t take.

On the podcast, Radke said “it feels like” he’s in a better place with Hubbard, who welcomed a baby girl with her now ex, Turner Kufe, a little more than a year after their wedding was canceled.

“It was really good at BravoCon,”  Rdake said of the November 2025 fanfest in Las Vegas. “You’ll see this next season, I think, some things that lended itself to being in a better place.  Me and Lindsay definitely had a better summer for sure. It felt really good. She wasn’t around as much because of the baby and just being in New York, but she was in the house, and we had some fun. I remember vividly laughing at some jokes that [she made].”

“People forget I’ve known Lindsay since 2016,” he continued. “For the first four years of ‘Summer House,’ we basically rode in the car every weekend to the Hamptons. And what’s not shown on ‘Summer House’ is those car rides where you bond like crazy. Lindsay and I continued to be tight. There’s a foundation of four and a half years of friendship and then two years of dating and being engaged. So we were friends for way longer than we were together. So it’s been nice to kind of get back to that level of friendship.”

Radke admitted he doesn’t “know where” he will go with Hubbard in the future, but he was happy to get a hug from her backstage at BravoCon.

“[Summer] was a really positive and healthy experience and BravoCon kind of solidified that,” he shared.  “Our ‘Summer House’ crew, it felt like a real family, and we are a real family.”

Carl Radke Said Lindsay Hubbard Was ‘Right’ About His Business Idea

When Radke was engaged to Hubbard, she tried to support his career aspirations. But in the Season 8 “Summer House’ episode, “Elephant on the Beach,”  she shot down his idea to open a non-alcoholic sports bar.

Hubbard told Radke she didn’t think a “brick and mortar” business was a smart idea. “Sorry, I’m gonna have to say no to that one,” the former publicist told her then-fiancé. “Working in the hospitality industry my entire life, representing every single lounge, bar, club, hotel, restaurant … I don’t want that for our future family.”

Radke ultimately opened his sober bar, Soft Bar + Cafe, months after splitting from Hubbard.

During a January 2026 appearance at the 92nd Street Y, Radke admitted that “Lindsay was right” about operating out of a physical storefront. “I will say running a brick and mortar business…Lindsay was right,” Radke said, per a clip shared by Virtual Reali-Tea.

Despite challenges, Radke told Morgan’s Pop Talk that he is “proud” of his business model.

“I’m very proud,” he said. “It’s really nice when you walk in there, people are like, ‘Ohh, it’s nice, it feels good,’” he said. “Our soft cocktails and the non op drinks people love them, they’re high quality. I think I feel like our price point is pretty good.  It’s a non-judgmental zone,” he added.
