‘RHOBH’ Alum Weighs In on ‘Summer House’ Situation

Garcelle Beauvais is the latest Bravo alum to weigh in on the ongoing “Summer House” situation involving stars Amanda Batula, West Wilson, and Ciara Miller.

Fans of the reality show were shocked when, on March 31, Batula and Wilson shared a joint statement to social media announcing their relationship. The news came after Batula recently separated from her husband, Kyle Cooke. Wilson, meanwhile, recently dated Batula’s best friend, Miller, complicating matters further.

Appearing on the red carpet at the Trust U.S 2026 Awards in Los Angeles on April 8, former “Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” star Beauvais chimed in on the news.

Garcelle Reacts to New Romance

At the event, E! host Erin Lim Rhodes asked Beauvais whether she’s been “locked in on the ‘Summer House’ drama?”

While Garcelle said she doesn’t watch the show, she acknowledged the situation was hard to avoid.

“Girl code, girl code, girl code. Period,” she then added, confirming she’s “absolutely” on Ciara’s side.

“I don’t know her…but just being a girl, and having girl code, yeah,” Beauvais continued. “And [Ciara’s] beautiful, she’s going to be just fine. I just want her to get the treatment as you know who.”

Garcelle, it seemed, was referring to Ariana Madix, as Beauvais and Lim Rhodes said Ciara should get a role on Broadway or host a dating show — both of which Madix did after “Scandoval.”

Amanda & West Shock Summer House Fans

Announcing their relationship in March, Amanda and West began their Instagram Stories statement by writing, “We’ve seen the growing online speculation, so while this is still very new, we wanted to provide some clarity. It was never our intention to purposely hide anything. Given the complicated relationship dynamics involved and the scrutiny that comes with being on a reality show, we needed a little space to process things privately before speaking on it.”

“We’ve shown up for each other as friends over the years, through all the highs and lows, and what’s developed recently was the last thing either of us expected,” they continued.

“Our connection grew out of a genuine, longstanding friendship, which made it especially important for us to approach this with care,” the two added. “As our feelings evolved, we wanted to take time to understand exactly what we were feeling. We also recognize that this has had an impact beyond just us and never wanted our actions to cause any hurt or be perceived as careless. We truly appreciate the understanding and respect as we navigate this.”

Kyle Expresses Concern for His Ex

Cooke spoke out about the situation in a street interview shared to TikTok by Adam Glyn, in which he admitted he was “really worried about Amanda” due to perceived backlash.

“I’ve talked to her. Before they put the statement out, she gave me a heads-up,” Cooke told Glyn. “I understand people have all sorts of opinions, and I’m not justifying any behavior, but from where I’m standing, she’s kind of getting cyber-bullied.”

“I’m obviously frustrated,” he added. “I’m obviously disappointed in her, but just hearing her and how unwell she is, dark thoughts, I just ask people to maybe let off the gas a little bit with the cyberbullying and hate. She knows what she did was wrong, and she’s trying to come to terms with it, but she is not doing well.”

New episodes of “Summer House” Season 10 air Tuesdays at 8pm on Bravo. Some of the show’s storylines will continue on its spinoff series, “In the City,” which premieres May 19 after the season finale.
