Former “Vanderpump Rules” star Stassi Schroeder spoke out about the recent “Summer House” love triangle involving Amanda Batula, West Wilson, and Ciara Miller.
On March 31, Batula and Wilson shared a joint statement on their social media announcing they had been in a relationship behind their exes’ backs. Wilson had dated Batula’s best friend Miller during “Summer House” Season 8, while Batula only recently separated from her husband, Kyle Cooke.
During an April 2026 episode of the “Stassi with Tay” podcast, Schroeder revealed that she is friends with Batula but hasn’t spoken to her recently. The veteran Bravo star called for fans to stop harassing Batula, even though she doesn’t agree with what took place.
“This is the thing, I’m friends with Amanda, you know what I mean?” Schroeder shared. “I haven’t seen her in a very long time, but, like, I’ve always had a good relationship with her. I haven’t messaged her. This feels weird to talk about because we have been friendly for so many years, but also, she’s so wrong.”
Schroeder admitted she couldn’t ‘‘defend” Batula but added that the dating bombshell doesn’t “define her as a human being.”
Regarding the bullying that Batula has been receiving, Schroeder added, “There absolutely is a line. And it should actually stop now. The bullying has been enough. …Because people can only take so much online hate until they actually lose their minds, and it’s really dangerous. So I feel like Amanda, she’s had a week of it, okay? It’s enough. Let her carry on and live her life now. She’s got to go to the reunion, she’s got to answer for everything.”
Kyle Cooke Urged Fans to Ease Up on Amanda Batula
BravoCooke has been surprisingly supportive of Batula. In a street interview posted on TikTok by Adam Glyn, the Loverboy founder said he’s “really worried about Amanda.”
“I’ve talked to her — before they put the statement out, she gave me a heads-up,” Cooke shared. “I understand people have all sorts of opinions, and I’m not justifying any behavior, but from where I’m standing, she’s kind of getting cyber-bullied.”
“I’m obviously frustrated,” he added. “I’m obviously disappointed in her, but just hearing her and how unwell she is, dark thoughts, I just ask people to maybe let off the gas a little bit with the cyberbullying and hate. She knows what she did was wrong, and she’s trying to come to terms with it, but she is not doing well.”
Stassi Schroeder Can Relate to a Reality TV Triangle
GettyThe “Summer House” scandal, dubbed by fans as “Scamanda,” is not the first Bravo TV love drama. Before 2023’s infamous “Scandoval,” Schroeder dealt with the betrayal of her then-boyfriend, Jax Taylor, and her friend Kristen Doute.
“It does suck that all this is coming down, Amanda but to me, the bigger betrayal is the friendship to me that’s the biggest betrayal,” Schroeder said on her podcast. “The biggest betrayal isn’t that West did this to Ciara. It’s the girl-on-girl, it’s the girl betrayal, and I’ve always felt that way.”
“As someone who was at the center of feeling betrayed on reality television, to me, the crime was that Kristen Doute could do that to me, not that Jax Taylor could do that to mem” Schroeder continued. “It’s where my friends can betray me that hurts the most. And so I think that’s why everyone’s coming down on Amanda so hard, because it’s like that’s the bigger betrayal. The bigger betrayal is the Amanda-Ciara friendship.”
Miller has made it clear she isn’t quite ready to forgive anyone just yet. While doing a red carpet interview, she coyly said to actress Sydney Sweeney, “When you steal your friend’s ex-boyfriend… what do you think is the next step?”
“I feel like you gotta get married,” Miller added, per Page Six. “You got to make it worth it.”

Ciara was already broken up with west. West and Amanda were very close friends. Amanda needed to lean on him in a terrible time of verbal abuse from Kyle. It just felt like she was vulnerable
And sad then the feelings developed. Personally, they will realize friendship is more important for them.
No sympathy for breaking girl code.
