RHOBH Alum Reveals Where She Stands With Former Castmates Nearly 1 Year After Exit

Garcelle Beauvais is set on leaving “The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” in the past.

Nearly one year after announcing her exit from the Bravo reality show, the actress and entrepreneur told People magazine that she was not looking to rekindle friendships with her former co-stars, which include Sutton Stracke, Kyle Richards, and Erika Jayne.

“I’m not looking for that, and I don’t think they are either,’ Beauvais, 59, said. “So it’s probably even. The past is the past.”

In March 2025, Beauvais announced on Instagram that she was leaving RHOBH after five seasons. The exit news came after the “Black Girl Missing” actress refused to pose for a cast photo and stormed off the set after cast members didn’t back her during the Season 14 reunion taping. “I can’t be friends with people like that. I don’t trust them,” she said at the time.

Beauvais previously explained that she felt hurt during her final season on RHOBH. In October, she appeared on “Watch What Happens Live” and admitted to host Andy Cohen that her friendship with Stracke is in the past.

“Not only she didn’t have my back, she also, when she called me, never took accountability for it. And that hurt my feelings a lot,” Beauvais claimed, before adding that she looked back ‘fondly” on the five-year friendship.

“You know, we had some really good laughs,” Beauvais added. “We were there for each other, mostly me for there for her. But I don’t regret it. I don’t regret it.”

She also hinted that the only cast member she could see herself being friends with in the future is Richards.

Speaking with People, Beauvais shared that she feels “much lighter” since her exit from the Beverly Hills-based reality show.

“It was a good thing, obviously,” she added. “I love my life now. I love a little bit of privacy, and I love doing the projects that I’m doing, so it’s good. It’s nice not to have the camera in your face all the time. And my kids appreciate that too.”

Beauvais’ twin teen sons, Jax and Jaid, and her older son, Oliver, have all appeared on RHOBH. For Season 14, her son Jax refused to film for the series after he was targeted with hateful comments online.

“Right before this season, Jax said to me, ‘Mom, I can’t do it anymore. It was too negative for me.’ I respected that, and so he’s not on this season at all,” Beauvais said on the “Pop Culture Moms” podcast in late 2024.

    • Friendships can sometimes (unfortunately) have “expiration” dates on them..there is a great void in one’s life when they end..u just have to stay strong and move on…sometimes there is no wrong or no right just differences and there is nothing u can do…..u have to be “thankful” that u had them (those friendships) for as long as u did..
