Jennifer Lopez stopped by Bravo’s “Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen” on Oct. 15, where she participated in a fan-favorite game, “Plead the Fifth.” Cohen didn’t hold back, asking J.Lo three juicy questions fans have been dying to know, but she could only skip one. Shockingly, the singer didn’t shy away from any of them and gave refreshingly honest answers.
One of Cohen’s questions touched on the long-standing rumor that her ex-fiancé, Alex Rodriguez, had been texting “Southern Charm’s” Madison LeCroy during their relationship. Lopez handled the moment like a pro.
Jennifer Lopez Gets Asked About A-Rod and Madison LeCroy
While appearing on “Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen,” Jennifer Lopez answered a question about her former fiancé, Alex Rodriguez, with total class.
The question was about the longtime rumor that her ex-fiancé had been DMing “Southern Charm” star Madison LeCroy while he and Lopez were engaged. It became a juicy detail that Bravo fans were dying to get the truth on.
“The Bravoverse will kill me if I do not ask this next question. It came up at a ‘Southern Charm’ reunion a few years ago…that your ex A-rod was DMing one of the castmembers,” he boldly asked Lopez.
Cohen went on to share that fans believed these rumors “somehow led to your breakup,” with Lopez pausing to think about how she would answer.
Handling it like a pro, she told the host, “You know, I really have nothing to say about my personal life anymore. I feel like I’m done with that.” Although it may not have been the answer fans were looking for, she received tons of support from the audience, with Lopez stating, “Yes! Support!”
Madison LeCroy Confirmed She Had Been DMing a Baseball Player
GettyAs Bravo fans are well aware, a rumor was buzzing that “Southern Charm” star Madison LeCroy and Rodriguez were DMing each other in 2021. The revelation came about during the show’s season 7 reunion, with Cohen sharing, “I should say, a very famous, married ex-MLB player.”
At the reunion, LeCroy’s co-star Craig Conover accused her of flying to Miami (which is where Rodriguez and Lopez called home at the time), where she was intimate with “an ex-MLB player.” He would go on to state that it occurred while she was dating her other co-star, Austen Kroll.
Surprisingly, LeCroy confirmed that the former baseball star did DM her and that they exchanged messages, but she admitted she had “never physically met him.”
Lopez and Rodriguez would end their engagement in April 2021. According to People, one reason for their split was Lopez’s inability to trust Rodriguez. “She insisted on it. There are too many issues that are unresolved,” a source had told the outlet.
