Grammy winner Megan Thee Stallion has taken her final bow in “Moulin Rouge! The Musical” on Broadway.
The rapper made history as the first woman to portray Zidler in the show. During her final show on May 1, fans showed up in droves to support Megan Thee Stallion. Her fellow artist Cardi B was among the eager theatergoers.

Cardi B Gushes Over Megan Thee Stallion’s Final Show
Broadway lovers went wild when Megan Thee Stallion first announced she would join the cast of “Moulin Rouge.” Her contract initially ran through May 17, but she sadly cut her run short after her public breakup with NBA star Klay Thompson.
In honor of the final bow, Cardi B rushed to the Al Hirschfeld Theatre to see her friend shine.
“I went to see Meg on Broadway. I was a little sad because I tried my best to be on time today, but I had so many things to do. But we made it to like, 40 minutes before the show ended and it was so, so, so good,” the 33-year-old shared during an Instagram live session.
“I’ve only been to a Broadway play like, one time, when I was 8 years old,” the artist continued. “When you go to school in New York, they’re always going to make you go to a Broadway play. So that was so fun. It was so pretty. I was liking the storyline. And Megan did amazing. She did amazing.”

Megan Thee Stallion announced her Broadway departure on the heels of her breakup with Klay Thompson. She cited infidelity as the push behind their split on her Instagram stories.
“Hotties, my last performance as Zidler in @moulinrougebway will be May 1 ❤️🩹” the 31-year-old shared on Instagram in a heartbreaking post. “It’s been such an honor to be part of thee Moulin Rouge family and I’ve met so many amazing people in this theater!”
“Y’all work so hard and I have so much respect for the dedication, the stamina, the work ethic, the time and the effort y’all put into the work!” the Grammy winner continued. “I’m so grateful for the cast and crew that made this experience so meaningful. And to all the Hotties that showed up or planned to attend, thank you for supporting me during this incredible journey! I LOVE YALL🥹 See you soon 💙”
